Well, it means the atomizer shorted out. That means that inside, somehow electricity is making it through the head without going across the
coils. The eVic is noticing that because the resistance on the circuit is very, very low.
batteries can't withstand that, so the eVic refuses to work.
You need a different head. Keep this one, though. You can take it apart (the bottom part underneath and the rubber part come right out), and maybe even find a part where the wire was touching somewhere. Look for it actually touching (before you rip it apart), or burn marks where the connection was made. And then, perhaps in the future you might want to try rebuilding heads and make that one good as new... again.
