Anyone care to weigh in on a debate I'm having with myself? (not crazy, lol) I have been using the 2.4-2.6 Fluxos since December. While waiting for the new ones to come in (still have 4 left), I found a 2.1 ohm Vision Mini on another site. Since no one else seems to carry these, I gave one a try because of all the hoopla about low res cartos, stardusts, etc. I know that there are a lot of you that are Vision fans, and a lot that are Fluxo fans, so my question is if you've tried both, which do you prefer and why (besides the easier filling)?

This Vision at 'low resistance' gets great vapor, but the flavors are off to me. Everything seems to taste way better in the Fluxos. I have a SR stardust, too, and think the same thing. Nothing seems to taste as 'rich'. I've mostly been doing fruity/light vapes (60/40 @ 12mg) while I wait (forever!!) for menthol mania to get back in. Can anyone compare the higher-ohm Visions to the lower? I have another standard Vision in the mail to try, but wanted some opinions...oh, and I'm using standard EGO's and Rivas.

Yeah, I get much better performance all the way around from the fluxos. Taste is much better, fewer dry hits, and just an all around better experience. I don't mind filling with a syringe at all, but some do. I will say, however, that the visions are perfect for dripping. I take them apart and clip the wicks at the cup, and use them for DIY testing. Using them this way creates awesome flavor and vapor.

Haven't tried dripping on it yet...do you just take out the silicone plug and put the mouthpiece back on? I do the flip-plug mod on my fluxos, so no syringe for me. I always got dry hits if I didn't.

Yeah, I take em apart, clip the wicks, toss the plugs. Then just a couple drops on the coil, put the mouth piece back on, and it is the best drip I have found.

Can someone that uses visions explain to me how they justify the price difference? I have tried the visions and I liked them. They were good cartos. They only thing I didn't like was not being able to use my own drip tip but that is just nit picking. I have not actually tried the fluxos but I have used regular ce2s and while I much preferred the visions, I just didn't see that it was so much better than a properly prepped ce2 to justify buying one vision for the price I could buy 5 ce2s. Do they do something extra special that I am missing?

I have Vision Extremes in two sizes. Mini and Regular, as well as several packs of Fluxos. I prefer the Fluxos, although the Visions are great, compared to any polyfill carto I've used. IMO, Fluxos are the best bargain in the e cig carto business. When properly set up, they are the closest thing to direct dripping on an atty that exists. With proper cleaning technique and frequency, Fluxos last and last. If cost is an issue, and it usually is with most vapers, Fluxos are much more cost effective than Visions.

I must say that I picked up 3 packs of Fluxos in December (vaping since October), and I STILL have 4 left out of the last pack. Talk about bang for your buck! Cleaning regularly is key. I got my two Vision regulars today, and a DCC EGO 'Echo'? (shaped like a stardust, but with the fill). The regulars seem better than the Mini I have, and the DCC is fair/good. I have my Vixen RY4 (menthol) in the DCC, and it tastes about the same as the Mini without that odd plasticy taste. Hope the Supremes and Pheonix get in soon!!!

I much prefer the visions. I had nothing but bad luck with the fluxos. They take lots of tweaking to get to work, and then I had many problems with leaking and getting mouthfuls of liquid. Perhaps I didn't tweak them correctly..... donno..... and don't care. I'm not a tweaker so if it doesn't work out of the box I don't want it.

The visions work out of the box very well. I do no tweaking at all. Just fill it up and go. I still have a few problems with occasionally getting a bit of liquid in my mouth but I have learned how to avoid that most of the time. All I use are the nanos as the flavor is better then the regulars which I have given up on.

We shall see how the new fluxos work out. Hopefully we can get some objective reviews once they are in.

The vision nanos work and they work a long time.

I may give the nanos a try, but I really prefer the higher capacity. The one regular I'm using now is definitely better than the mini, but the 1.2 seems to go very fast. Again, can't wait for the Phoenix line!!!

I also agree about the Fluxo vs. Vision. My modded Fluxos (I don't look at the plug flip as a mod, though) work flawlessly, and the taste/vapor are far superior. I've never gotten juice mouth (not so with the Visions) from the Fluxos with regular drip tips. I just wish they were as easy as the Visions to fill...not that they're hard, but just pulling the tip and filling is obviously one step easier...
