ok by now we all know that adrena likes to dress her visions in skirts and tube tops... not a bad look at all ;)
but my visions generally like to come to the party a bit more formally dressed in Full Metal Jackets
here are a couple with a nekid one for comparison

and of course a little illumination helps you keep an eye on things inside

and they are just held on by friction - a small ring of tape at the top and bottom of the vision tube - so its no bother to slide it off for a better look inside.

ok heres the catch - and it applies to ANYTHING in a ego size tube - the parts are only pressed into the ends of the tubes and as such can be pushed out from the other end or removed by other means as well. in this specific example the tubes came from the original giantomizers which i used without the outside tubes anyway. anybody interested on taking apart those old things can search for the various threads here on ecf for the instructions posted by myself and many others :D
adrena in your case if it is the silver piece on the skirt end it makes a 'shelf' inside the tube right? simplest way i found to get this part out is get a screwdriver with a handle that fits inside the tube but doesnt go through the silver part. you can then hold the tube in your hand and tap the screwdriver with a hammer and depending on how tight its in there you will eventually be able to drive it out but it might take a lot of tapping lol another way is hold it upsidedown and bang the screwdriver on the floor or ect.
other ego products offer up great sleeves for this use as well. the sapphire covers the threaded end parts pull out very easily. if it has cone threads screw it to a batt and you can wiggle the tube right off the threaded insert. the cap / cover threads are also an insert and can be pulled / wiggled out the same way. its like removing the ss tube on the old ce2 if your familiar with that. there are others i am not as familiar with also and one i just discovered that has huge promise is the 3ml phoenix with the cover. the cap threads can simply be pulled out to use the tube as a cover OR i think you could trim down the vision tube a little and put the phoenix seal in the vision on top of its seal and insert the vision into the phoenix sleeve and use a regular dt and the cap cover too.

i am also making covers from some phoenix xl that match my karma and stingray batts but that is a story for another thread ;)
