Visually tell the difference between Provari and V2 Provari?

Can anybody tell me how to visually tell the difference between the Provari and the Provari v2?
I know the v1 has a current output af 2.5 amps and the v2 has a current output of3.5 amp.

The voltage range starts at 3.3 on the V1 and 2.9 on the V2 I believe. Other than that, and the colors available at certain times, are the only way I know

some little things depending on the age - color, endcap, some small differences. if you get a deal its worth it to send it in for the upgrade - depending on the age they may replace more then just the chips on the board. (email them first is wise to check the cost)
