I've had my Vivi Nova 2.5 for about a week and a few problems have come up. I was wondering if any of you guys have also had these problems, and if so, know how to fix them

1. The silicone cap is not making a perfect seal with the top cap. Sometimes one side will get squished over the atomizer head or the top of the cap will cave in, allowing juice to go into the mouthpiece and assembly.

2. Vapor is leaking out of the holes where the wicks are and into the tank. It gets to the point where any part of the tank that doesn't have juice in it is completely filled with vapor.

Also, there's no gurgling sound when I take a draw so I don't think there's an airflow problem, but particularly the silicone cap is an issue for me as it makes me nervous to turn the tank on its side or upside down.

Thanks for the help!
#2 Happens regularly to me. No idea why..

Gurgling sounds comes in when liguid is in center post. Atty head wasn´t tight enough.
I keep my tank upside down, sideways, anyways. Rolls around on passenger seat in car.. :p

I think I know what you're talking about OP. When you screw the top cap on, does the silicone seal become dislodged? I don't have this prob with the minis but with the regulars I do. I use a paperclip to straighten out the seal thru the center before u put ur drip tip on. Take the drip tip off, screw on the top cap, look down the center, is everything aligned? I bet this is ur problem.

That is the exact problem I have. I will try using the paper clip as you said to straighten it out.

Also, this isn't a problem for you with the minis? I may look into getting one if that's the case

Yeah if you look down the center as you screw the top cap on, you'll see it slowly dislodge itself, pry it back into the center with a paperclip so it's seated nicely in the center & you're good to go. The mini I have never experienced this issue at all.

First of all, welcome!

As someone who has been there and tried it, I *can't* recommend a Vivi Nova to a new-ish user. If you already have one, and it seems to be working for the most part, you'll probably be ok... but I have had nothing bur problems with my two. Many other people have had so many different issues that I no longer recommend these units to anyone, much less someone who is new-ish to vaping in the first place. They have a number of design flaws, and need modification to function properly over a period of time.

Again, though, I welcome you to the forums, and wish you luck- if it's working for you, then keep on using it! If not, I would be willing to recommend at least 5 other cheap-ish, simple systems that work better out-of-the-box.

I really like the z-atty pro, however not going to spend 150 bucks on one anytime soon. You have any good recommends for that style?
