Hey guys,

I am looking into purchasing a Vivi Nova 2.5. Want to stay away from carto tanks until I find a reliable supplier for boge cartos. Anyways, I just wanted to hear some impressions from the members that have experienced the newest vivi nova first. Thanks in advance.

( Also, if you know of a reliable place to get non-defective Boge cartos, PLEASE let me know !! )

Love my vivi nova. Hands down better than smoktech cartos in a tank. The heads last longer; the flavor is better; etc.. If you re-coil them, they're cheaper……or if you rinse the head with warm water and change flavors (which you can).

They take like a day or two to break in…boiling the heads seems to help a bit, but I haven't done it to a brand new one……I just got sick of waiting for one to break in and boiled it like a day in for a few minutes.

Few little quirks…but I like them.

Depends on the voltage range and amp limit. Figure out what wattage you can get out of your device with each one, and pick the range that makes sense to you. For the twist, my calculations show the 1.8 head to be the best (5.7W to 11.25W).

The one thing that bugs me about them is that they seem expensive……I kinda want to have a few things sitting around for other flavors……and at this point, they're likely to all be novas or nova minis. That seems very expensive until you consider the cost of half-decent tanks (a delrin cartomator is like $20 and takes ~$2 cartos).
