Vivi Nova 2 on KGO

Ditch the dual coil carto and put in a 1.7ohm resurrector or other good single coil carto and you'll like it more. It was one of the few carto tanks specifically designed for an ego. Personally, I don't care for carto tanks and I especially don't like dual coils on anything less than 4.5V.

Another one that I haven't tried, but is getting good reviews is a clearomizer tank for the eGo called the E1. They have replaceable guts for $2.50 and replacement tanks in different colors for $1.50

I did! 1.7 res's are the only thing I use in tanks. I just didn't want to go into it in this thread especially since it's the only thing you've ever misled me on. I just read about the other ones and actually thought the Ce3 (phoenix) might be a better go for me although it's at a higher ohm than I prefer on my kGo. I still have my lavatube.

How interchangeable are the V1 and V2 parts? I bought some metal tanks for my V1 and would really like to use with the V2.

I ordered one from clouds of vapor 2 days ago, and literally 20 mins after I ordered I realized V2 had been released, I was so upset with myself. But it's good to hear you enjoy the V1, hopefully I'll get a good one, and we can always interchange parts when the V2s are more widely available

i just took a look and clouds dont have V2 available... But hoosiers is listing V2 for sale.. it does have short wicks, but the box doesnt say V2 on it.. Not sure what to think.

Those are definitely V2. If you blow up the picture, you can see the air hole in the connector. Also short wicks and the heads aren't sealed in plastic bags.

According to Gotvapes, all the parts are interchangable, including the tanks and heads.

Personally, I would've gotten them from Hoosier. I know for a fact that esmoker got a hold of some very questionable Vision Stone 3 tanks a while back, so I'm a little suspicious of their supplier(s). I'm not saying it's their fault or they make a habit of it, but I'd suggest you look them over very carefully when they come in and make sure they're genuine Vision V2s. Vision is a very highly counterfeited company. The world is awash in counterfeit Stardusts. A quick look at Ali Baba will convince you of this.

I agree they look like V1s. But they do offer a refund policy. I also sent a note explicitly requesting V2s. I only ordered one, so we shall see. It just seems that hardly anyone has V2s in stock.

I just lifted this pic from Clouds. Their title doesn't say V2. See the knurled base plate? Over on the right side, in the edge, there is a hole. That's one of the two air holes that have been relocated to the battery connector on the V2. That was one of 2 major improvements.

Also, see how the center post sticks out of the connector? That was the other big complaint. People had to file that down so it was flush with the connector.

This is definitely a V1. No doubt about it, even disregarding the wick lengths.

I also purchased 3 additional 2.8 heating units and will need to check those out as well. I'm hoping the additional ones are good and the only bad one was in the package. Was going to wait till I have to fill before I change the heads, but am so frustrated I am going to do it early.

I'm not sure in the case of the Vivi. With the Stone, it had some internal parts that didn't look the same and had the wrong finish, it was leaking and, most telling, it was bought weeks before Vision released it to any vendors.
Usually knockoffs just don't work right. If they do, then what the heck. Who cares? You might get one and never even know it. There's just more of a chance you'll have a problem sometimes, or it just won't work as well as it should have.

I like them a lot, nice vapor production,good flavor, and replaceable coils, and a bonus, you can also easily rebuild the coils! I bought a few replacement "heads" and now , I find myself rebuilding the coils, I made a 3.2 Ohm today that rocks! Viva Vivi !
