Vivi nova, how often do you change coil?

Hi

I have a smoktech sid, with a vivi nova on top (1.8 ohm coil)

It seems I have to change coil every two weeks or so
It becomes dull and hard to get good full vape out

How often do you change coil?
Just asking, to see if this is normal

Agree, many variables. I would say.

1. Kind of juice (darker ones and heavy VG juices will gum it up quicker)
2. How much you vape
3. Voltage / Wattage

+ Above, there are a lot of variables.

I tend to measure in ml on my (clear, but 50% VG liquid, 3.8 V, 2.0 Ω). In my case, I get around 50 ml through my tank (not a Nova, but they all perform about the same if the head style is about the same).

By the fiftieth ml, the flavor is off a bit, and I do notice it when I change to a new head. Suddenly flavors are much brighter, sharper, and stronger.

I rebuild my own heads, so that's cheap. I'm just too lazy to do it that often as there are plenty of other things demanding my attention!

On an old Vivi Nova, I sometimes got less than 2 or 3 days...

Very, very annoying.

They're just not very good.

I only buy vision brand, I have 5 in rotation and I have been using the same ones for a year and half almost. Rebuild with 3mm silica and 32 gauge kanthal. They have served me way beyond anything else I have.

Thick juices combined with my intake resulted in Vivi Nova coils lasting me a day or less. I had to switch to rebuildables rather quickly.

Hey gang.

YES I had the same problem with my Vivi Nova tank.

That and the fact I learned some e-liquids react with plastic, so, I went for a normal coil with glass tank (Aerotank Mega 3.8ml).

Had a rough start but now am completely satisfied with it.

I was replacing the vivi nova 'coils' once or twice a week. Horrible. I've noticed not too many companies use their wicking system.

I highly recommend glass and normal atomizers. Dual coil tanks can take single coil, my recommendation is to use single coils.
