I have two ego batteries. One is a smok Tech 900 mah usb passthrough, and the other is a 600 mah Smoov vv (twist type). They both have the same threading, whatever type that is. Today I bought a Vivi Nova mini (wrapper says "slim"). It's a Smok Tech, not a Vision. I'm feeling mighty stupid because the tank doesn't fit on my batteries lol. The threading on the tank is just a tad too small to screw into the ego threading. So I'm guessing I need an adapter of some sort. Is anyone able to point me in the direction of the correct adapter to make this thing fit? Thanks! :)

LOL omg, it turns out that I'm extremely stupid. The tank has a springy thing on the bottom. Apparently I just had to press harder on the tank to make it screw into the threading. So it does fit.

Good job  I forgot about that- spring is there so the battery post on the tank won't get pushed up- eliminates post pulling.

It doesn't say ego. I meant they were ego threaded types of batt. One is a Smok, the other is a Smoov. So I guess they would be knock offs, but Smok and Smoov make decent stuff. I've never noticed a coating. Everything has always fit on them fine until today, due to my own user error lol.

The eGo is a class/ style of PV. The main eGo brands are:
JoyTech eGo- fires @ 3.4 volts
Kgo/ Riva eGo- fires @ 3.7 volts
Smok Tech eGo- fires @ 3.7 volts
Realize your ST is a VV so the above doesn't apply.
"Sometimes" the knockoffs are superior to the original- I LOVE my Kgo but don't like my Kgo VV and I am not brand loyal but prefer to purchase the best gear regardless of the brand. Like the Smok Tech eGo PV and their 1.7 ohms cartos but don't like their Vivi Tanks.

Now that I've tried the vivi tank, it seems ok. The vivi seems to give more vapor and hit on the vv, but also has more of a plastic taste. The other Smok clearos (regardless of their ohm) taste fine but don't seem to pack as much of a punch.

A few have reported they have a plastic taste. Sometimes allowing the juice to sit in the tank for awhile cures this. Realize some acidic juices will damage/ destroy the plastic- one option is to buy a metal sleeve which would also eliminate the plastic taste. On my Kgo I use the 1.8 ohms.....on my Spinners and Twists 1.8 ohms @ 4.0- 4.2 volts but I like a warm/ strong hit.

I like the 2.0 ohm heads on my ego batteries with my vivi nova mini. No plastic taste here, but I have the metal sleeve. I've had mine for over a month and have had no issues. I checked mine with my multimeter just to see what the ohms were, and they turned out to be between 1.9 and 2.1. That's not too bad considering what I've heard others reporting. Also, the heads are very easy to rebuild.
