The Vivi Nova head is indeed rebuildable, but it's a tiny space to work in, and probably not a project for a beginner. It's probably better to just buy replacement heads--they are cheap and easy to find.
But if you want to build them EXACTLY to your taste, it CAN be done. Here is a VERY good video tutorial on how to do it:
wow... this video is awesome. Thanks a lot for the video. i messed up lots of vivi nova head in the past. I have about 18 heads to rebuild. Now i can rebuild all of them. This video helps me a lot. Thanks a lot again.
rebuilding them is pretty easy- follow the video that "stereo" posted.. preferably using a pv with built in ohm meter and short circuit protection... it will take a couple of goes but you will get it... don't wrap coils too tight or too loose, practice- and soon you'll be away!!!!! i used 3mm silica wick but now only hemp or cotton and 32 kanthal... good luck.. and good vapes
honestly- both are good, horses for courses i guess-- hemp is pretty good and durable, cotton is super absorbent, just watch the voltage/wattage, they do burn easier!!!
Not to steal the thread as well (too late?) hemp will take a bit more of a beating than cotton. PBusardo has his own site dedicated to all thing vape. I highly recommend you check out his opinion when considering a purchase. I don't agree with all his opinions, but he's solid.
