i have an ego with a vivi nova ordered 10 ft of silica wick and 20 ft of kanthal wire and its supposed to get here tommorrow how many rebuilds can i expect with that much?

I just succeeded at my first attempt to rebuild one of my vivis. I have my first true rebuildables coming in the mail. A triton for my rda and a kayfun for my rba. I figured if I could rebuild the vivi then the true rebuildables should be easier. I needed both the practice and the confidence boost to get me excited for the real thing. I guess my point it that a 4/5 wrap with 32g kanthal around 2 strands of 2mm silica wick put me at 2.8 ohms resistance. Good luck and I hope my rambling message helped.
Actually I have had better luck with some bottom coils that the vivi. I gave up. I know more now though so might try again. RDA/RBA are so much easier that clearo coils.

Thank you for the info and resources Paullbhc. It's great there are people like you here to help keep new comers safe. I have done my homework and already have pretty decent grasp of things but I'm not jumping in head first. I have a nemesis on the way with a kick2 that I will use til in comfortable with my progress/understanding. I will def use the calculator and possibly the others. Thanks again!
