make sure the mesh is well oxidized and u not creating hot spots(sounds like what is happening with you). take off the silicon cap and fire it up(no
juice). You want all the coils to glow red evenly - if they do not take a needle(or paper clip) and gently push them around while firing(always use the mod with protection like provari/vmax/zmax/lavatube etc. - never unprotected mechanical mod) until they all glow nice and even. If that doesn't help at all - take all apart and reoxidize the wick: heat it up to red-quench-some say no need to quench even - just heat it up but i like old fashion quenching. Repeat at least 3 times. The wick should be all black now, drip some
juice(or plain vg or pg) and set it on fire and let it burn out naturally. Repeat that at least 3 times- that adds another layer of oxidization. Now if you want to go even step further - wrap a cigarette paper around the wick where the coils will be, and then wrap your coils on top of it. Then fire it up with ur mod and let paper burn off. Blow off the paper and that will add yet another layer of insulation if you will. That should get you perfect SS wick with plenty of vapor/th/flavor
