What about changing the flavors? Sometimes separations in flavors that you are not used to may come across as unpleasant. When I drip tribecca with my boge carts they come across as tobaccy and sweet. With my rebuildable dripper (no polyfil) it tastes like gula melaka burning!

Your coils probably cost less than 20cents to manufacture in China so I am not gonna be wild about their QC yah? I suspect the resistance varies between coils and manufacturing oils and residues are not exactly cleaned out.

I have a 2.5 VN still in the package ... still waiting for my VV to come in , hopefully i will not get the same metal taste as yours.

if it's new, chances of tasting metal is high but i may be wrong....my new clearomizer tasted metal as well but today the vape is very good....no more metal flavor.

Its from your wire, try to heat it with a loghter till it glows red before you wrap your wick!

Hi,

Anyone experience this...? I just popped new coil for my vivi nova, it taste like soap metal... Tried using lower voltage with my ego twist batt and soaking/washing the coil... That weird metallic taste just don't go away...

I think I know why; it could be from either the coil or the wick.

I remember watching some videos somewhere, I think by Shan on YouTube, she takes a lighter and burn the wick (those 'wind proof' lighters) to burn way the chemicals in the wick. Since ViVi is mass produced, there could be some on the wick as well. Therefore, you take out your Nova, wash it till there's no more juice (to prevent contamination again) and then wash the wick and burn it. Like just take a lighter and run through it.

You're right bro, i solved the problem, it's the coil... Their coil is lower grade, i.e. lower max temperature, after i replace the coil, no more metal taste.... :p
