Not a complaint, just a personal observation. Have been using same head (1.8 ohm labeled, two different blens juices through it, running around 4 volts) for two months or so. Have rinsed out and dry burned twice if I remember correctly. Performance has not been horrible but not like brand new. Hate to just toss it because its old. Pretty neat I think. Battery does need to be fairly fresh off the charger to hit in a satisfactory way. Any sure fire signs that it's time to toss clearomizer heads?

Also, have noticed coils in these heads are wrapped fairly tight. Is it worth getting into it with a mini screwdriver and trying to seperate the coils from each other? Have been researching RBA's a little and it would make sense that teasing these prebuilt coils could only help. Or is it a case that if it works don't mess with it?

I usually find that after 2 or 3 days I'm just not getting the performance I like. Pretty standard since that's what I get out of anything else, including coils I build myself. If you're still happy with it and everything still tastes alright, there shouldn't be a problem with keeping it. It does sound like it's time for that one to go considering that the battery needs a full charge to get a good vape.

As far as playing with them, I'm one of the "if it works don't touch it" sort of people.

I have ego type a heads that are 4 months old, ive only SS rewicked. I swear they hit as well as a brand new one. This is from a rewick video i made, the atty in it is maybe 2 months old at that point. Im still using it daily, and more than any other device. The cloud is nice for 80PG

Glad to see I am not the only one with good luck with the vivi's. When I started I read about things always needing replaced and burning out an thought that I was going to constantly need to buy new stuff. I have been lucky, around two months now and haven't had anything break, although my atomizers might be on their last legs just from to many different juices dripped in them. I really liked my first vivi and now have three of them and a dozen or so replacement heads (thought I would need them) but other than the one that is just drenched in my favorite menthol and will never taste like anything else, the original head are still going strong. Just tried my first carto tank and after a week it is tasting bad. Not to impressed with that route and am going to stick with the vivi's.

Yeah, clean em, dry burn em nice and red hot.
Repeat. I am def gonna re-wire them with the 30g and hemp like that one member is doing.

Almost a campaign to redeem the name of the Nova, as it has enough haters going for it as is.

Not hate, just there are things that work better. But for noobs I recommend it.

I am a long, long way from a noob and I'm happy with my vvn's. I have tried cartomizers and carto tanks and they are not for me. Just as the vvn's are not for everyone. In fact I know several long time vapers using the vvn. They are convenient and work quite well for some of us.

I am rewicking and recoiling mine and using cotton. Use cotton in my drunker tank too. Works well for me. Tired the hemp and that was not for me.

Oh, my dear, If I may call you that...there is HATE!
Some folk get mad that they are left with what they bought. Although I do understand that if you have to mod something...yadda yadda.
The things that work better are pretty much comprised of what you will be doing to the VIVI in terms of modification.
Heavier gauges, better wicks, drilled airholes.

I just rewicked my first vivi head with vaporbase rope and 32awg kanthal, came out to 1.7ohm. I was really, really impressed with the performance after a proper rewicking. I have about 5 Vivi's that I never cared much for, but after this I kinda love em. Might start buying heads just to rewick then use em from now on.
