I bought my Volcano Lavatube from their authorized retail location in Illinois on November 18, 2013, by January the chrome look of the firing button was beginning to disappear. I have made sure that my nail doesn't touch the button so it wouldn't scratch it up and now i have a brass colored button. Beyond that I noticed the volcano logo is upside down on the LCD cover, and lastly the positive button is now mushy instead of providing feedback when pressed. As far as performance it has been a great consistant vape. Just disappointed with QC and quality of the finish.

:(

Quite interesting. I have been following the release of the version 2.5 and since it is priced in the upper range of devices I wondered about quality. This is not a good sign.

Like i said performance overall has been great, just fit and finish. Although this week I have had a few times in which the lavatube did not want to turn on, or turn off....
