Volt e-cig.

I tend to prefer the "cigarette looking" e-cig. I like it because it isn't big and clunky. I've tried Vapor4Life, LiteCig USA, and now the Volt from Smokeless Image...I liked them all, but my fav, by far, is the Volt. I love the batt so far and their blank cartomizers are the best I've used (Boge maybe?). The cartomizers have a much better hit (IMHO) than any I have tried.

The only problem I ran into is that I killed the first battery before I even got to use it and they refused to replace it. I plugged it into a charger that did not come from them. Their response was that I shouldn't have a problem using it with other chargers...but since I did it made their warranty invalid. My fault though...so I am still going back to Smokeless Image soon

Youre a better man than I. I would use a "slightly" inferior product from a company that gives me excellent customer service than stick with a company that didnt help me out on a new purchase. I get that the charger you put it on was incompatible but it was a new purchase and you didnt know. As a former business owner myself, I find it a completely reasonable mistake and since batteries are not extremely expensive and a lil good customer service would keep you coming back, I would bite the bullet. I received some good CS from V9 and I stopped "lurking" here, signed up and cant stop singing their praises. JMO.

I feel the same way. I would have given me a new battery! But I cannot expect others to behave the way I would...or I would go through life being consistently dissapointed. The problem is....I haven't found a battery I like better..lol

I will however check out V9...never even heard of it until I read this post....so thank you very much for the input...it is appreciated a great deal.

Yeah I dont know if its as good a battery as the one you received since I havent tried the Volt. I used NJOY, Smoke Everywhere and Blu. Its a better ecig, in my opinion than those. I abbreviated it but its Vapornine.com. They sell an express kit for $8 right now. You could give it a try low risk since its cheap. It only comes with a USB adapter an 1 battery and 2 cartomizers. The use a 100% PG juice so, that might or might not be your cup of tea. Its an k808d-1 battery.
Worst case scenario is you could give it away.

I understand the blunder, but I personally could not blame a company for not replacing a battery I fried on a charger that was not theirs. Smokeless Image has great customer service, I have the Volt kit and have ordered thru SI many times with no issues. In fact I had spoken with their customer service a few times and they have bent over backwards to accommodate me. I understand your frustration, but if I filled my Ford truck that takes regular gas with diesel, I wouldn't be calling Ford for a new truck.

I did not say SI was to blame. In fact, if you read back, I said it was my fault. I did say that "I" would've given me a new battery...I did not say they should. In fact, I never asked them to replace the battery; I just explained what happened.
However, if a first time customer had asked me to replace that battery, I would have. Particularly, after telling the customer that it "should have been fine". I have already placed a new order with them, like I said I would be doing in my post. So thank you for the post and information. I hope that in the future, they bend over backwards to accommodate me.

I don't know. you should be able to charge an 808 on an 808 charger without worrying about it wrecking the battery. maybe something was wrong with the charger? or does it still work for the other batteries?

If the volts are that picky about what they get charged on, seems like there is something wrong

That's what I thought..and also what SI said...yes, the charger still works. I use it on all of my 808s with no problem. I like to think everything happens for a reason..maybe if I'd used it, it woulda blown up in my face...you just never know.

You can ask any question there and Imagine or one of the nice people will answer you. Doesn't matter if the question has been answered before or not.

I have had very good CS from them and love my Volt.

Was your batt one of the new sealed automatics?

The second time around I ordered 3 batts, 2 chargers and 10 cartomizers. Love their cartomizers! My favorite vape all day juice is Kant menthol (V4L) with a touch of EnergyCow (LiteCigUSA). I am also using the Watermelon from SI with the Kant Menthol. Kant menthol has been my favorite from the get go though. Thanks for asking!

The battery that died was not a sealed auto. I think they posted those up two days after I ordered. However, all of the new Volts I ordered are the sealed autos. They should be here today! Thanks for the info! I get so lost in these forums. lol
