Volts/Ohms Question

Hi Everybody!

At what PV voltage threshold do I need to cross before I have to use a standard resistance carto?

I will be using a iTaste MVP ( don't have it yet, just getting together the accessories on my vapelist).

I normally use the Kanger LR carts for my 1000mA Ego and I vape that at 4.2v and below.
When I get the MVP I will be going higher than 4.2v (the MVP goes up to 5V)

Since the Kanger SR carts can be hard to find, I was going to get a 510 to 808 adaptor and get the Kanger SR 808 carts.

I like a warm vape with lots of vapor

It really depends on the juice/person vaping. I tend to vape LR (~2.0ohmO at 4.8ohm to 5ohm.

Hi, I don't think there is a threshold where you have to, but SR cartos won't draw as much current, and your batteries will last longer. I used LR when I had 3.7-ish volt devices only. I don't know the answer to your question exactly, but over 4 volts (especially if you have VV) SR should be good.

Dual coil = warmer vape. Each resistance has it's own threshold where the performance is maximized. Too much volts will result in the atomizer/cartomizer to go poof. To each his own, but my target watts is around 9-10 with any cartomizer/atomizer...
