Have you tried just going to a vape shop and holding their various products in your hands?  Micro USB2 was NOT known for reliability.  It had a severe insertion count problem.  Bad enough that I put adaptors in all my microUSB2 devices and leave them there to reduce insertion count.  Finding old new stock is probably a requirement, and there may not be any.</blockquote>
