Hello and welcome to today's review of the Argus E40 Pod Kit that houses a 1800mAh internal battery with a wattage range of 5-40 watts. coils used in the Argus E40 Pods are the PNP X coils that boast a 100ml of juice usage before needing to be replaced and speaking about replacement, the Argus E40 can use integrated pods or blank empty pods with replaceable PNP X coils ( your option ). After some info from Voopoo I'll give you my findings good or bad on the Argus E40 Pod kit, lets get started.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The Argus E40 is a simple device to operate with no complicated menu system to deal with just a couple button combinations so it's no surprise that the packaging would follow suite. A slide out inner box with the Argus E40 in a tray on top of the 2nd pod ( 0.6Ω mesh ) , charging cable and user manual.

Preinstalled is the 0.3Ω pod, Voopoo also sent me a blank empty pod and 3 PNP X coils with it. I was happy to see a lightly tinted 4.5ml pod, picking the device up I noticed some heft to it while also having girth, it has a great hand fit and feel to it.

Starting the review off with a full charge I noticed that the USB-C charge port was located on the bottom of the device so it has to be laid down while charging and there is no vape while charging with the device. There is a rubber bottom surrounding the charge port that I appreciate.

Most pod devices use magnets to attach the pod to the device and it's used with the Argus E40 as well but these magnets are so strong they actually pull the pod out of your hand when close to the connection point, there is no wobble when connected either. Voopoo places a safety sticker across the bottom of the pod during shipping so you will need to remove it before vaping.

The mouthpiece is rather large but comfortable and although you can vape the Argus E40 in either DL, RDL or MTL mode because of it's stepless airflow I think it more suited for RDL or DL vaping.

The airflow control is a sliding lever that sticks out just barely to feel it to make adjustments. There is a cyclops oval opening along with a much smaller MTL hole, airflow is smooth across the board using any setting. The many airflow options should make all users happy.

Voopoo has almost always designed there pods with large fill ports for easy, fast and mess free filling and the pods for the Argus E40 are no exception, fill up is fast and mess free because of the large port that leaves plenty of room for air to escape the pod when filling.

The Argus E40 has the option of being a auto draw or button fired device or both if you want but the fire button can be deactivated making it only auto draw for safe carry in a pocket.

There is only the fire button that also opens the menu, a series of button combinations is the menu. The fire button protrudes even less than the airflow adjustment laver. The inlet hole for the airflow sits just above the fire button.

Many people would rather replace individual coils than replacing the entire pod while others like not having to fiddle with things and prefer replacing the entire pod, with the Argus E40 you can do both by picking up a empty pod and replacing coils using the PNP X coils. Very nice!!!

I really like the look of the device and it would have been a nice look if the wheel on the back of it spun or illuminated, to me it kind of resembles a hard drive on top the chipset

There are lights on both sides the very small display screen that illuminate when vaping. These light are the devices battery strength indicators that use color as a strength indicator.

My only real con of the Argus E40 is the small display and font size, my aging eyes have a hard time reading the fonts.

When it's fire button is unlocked a open padlock is displayed, when locked a closed or locked padlock is displayed on the far left of the display screen. Below is the display legend.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I think Voopoo did a nice job on the Argus E40 having all the bells and whistles that I like except the fonts and display screen should have been larger.

Having the option of using integrated pods or empty pods where you can use PNP X coils is great because it makes everyone happy. The PNP X coils are real flavor bangers and they are one of my personal favorite drop in coils.

I like the larger thicker girth of this device mainly because of my larger hand size , it's a perfect hand fit for me. Voopoo listened by making the pod lightly tinted so juice viewing is no problem.

I like the airflow in any position because it's pretty smooth and not noisy either. If you can get by the small display and font size I recommend the Argus E40 100%.

I would like to thank Voopoo for providing the Argus E40 for the purpose of my review and I would also like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
