VooPoo Argus G3 Mini
Today I'm bringing you a new POD device, the younger sibling of the Argus G3, specifically the Argus G3 Mini. It comes equipped with a 1350mAh battery, which for its size, is really very, very good. It also features the new iCosm 2.0 technology that promises 30 days without leaks, smoothness, and up to 100mL of lifespan. Let's get on with the review, but not before clarifying one thing: the packaging of this unit will not be shown, as requested by VooPoo since it's an unofficial version.

Thanks to VooPoo from here for making this review possible. You can visit their website and learn more about the G3 Mini.

First, let's start with some more specific characteristics, such as the weight or the material of the device. Regarding the weight, VooPoo states that this G3 Mini weighs 40.85g, a really low weight, which helps it feel very comfortable in the hand, added to its size of course. Furthermore, the material it's made of is an aluminum alloy, partly the primary reason why the weight is so low. These combined factors make it a very comfortable device; that is, it's small, very, very portable, not heavy...

As we can see, it's a stick-shaped device with dimensions of 97.9x25.8x13.7 mm with the 3mL cartridge, which is the one in use in this image. Again, it's really very small.

On the front of the device, we can see a strip that, although it's the same color as the rest of the device, is chrome-plated/polished. In this strip, right in the center, is the battery indicator LED, which in this case has two states:

Red -> Battery less than or equal to 20%
White -> Battery greater than 20%

On the other hand, we also appreciate some branding, indicating that this POD belongs to the Argus range of devices. Honestly, the aesthetics and in this case the color of this unit make it a beautiful device in my opinion.

On both sides, we find a small circular airflow inlet, although on one of them, the charging port is also added.

The device does not feature fast charging, and I don't entirely understand why. Specifically, it charges at 5V/1A, which means the device fully charges in approximately an hour and a half. Even so, there's something I don't quite understand. I mean, I get that the device is a Mini version, but why does the Argus G3 have fast charging and this version doesn't? I simply don't fully grasp it, although I won't take it as a disadvantage either.

Well, on this same side, as I mentioned before, you can see a small, non-adjustable circular airflow inlet. The airflow inlets do their job, although if you're looking for a restricted MTL, they definitely don't deliver that. It's a device more focused on RDL or DL with 0.4Ω resistances.

On the sides, we can also see this small pattern of small squares, which also have a raised texture. VooPoo specifically calls it Parisian nail-patterned style, and honestly, it looks very good aesthetically.

Regarding the cartridges, they come in two capacities: 2mL (complying with the TPD) and 3mL; in this case, the latter is the one tested in the review. Furthermore, they come in three different resistances: 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω (included in the packaging and tested in the review), and finally 1.0Ω.

It's worth mentioning again that iCosm 2.0 technology is implemented, although there are some factors that are promised but not fulfilled; we will discuss these in the next section.

Vaping Time
Let's talk about the battery first. To give a practical example, I've been using it since Monday (starting Monday with a full charge), and as of today, May 7th, the red LED hasn't turned on yet. Although it hasn't been used to its maximum, so to speak, it has been used quite a bit daily. I can confirm that the battery is capable of lasting 3 days with relatively moderate use.

On the other hand, let's talk about the 0.7Ω cartridge. It is clear that this is a coil somewhat more intended for restricted vaping, leaning towards MTL or RDL. It really provides a very satisfying vape. The usage range is 14-18W, but it's not possible to change it because the device doesn't have power regulation. On the other hand, regarding MTL, due to the airflow inlets, it cannot be achieved as such; I can confirm that it is only designed to be used as an RDL device.

Otherwise, I can only say good things. The aesthetics are very beautiful, the weight is incredibly low for the materials used, it's comfortable in the hand, very portable, and user-friendly. In short, it's a perfect device for someone who is starting out, as they don't even have to touch power settings or airflow adjustment; it's simply fill with liquid, wait a few minutes, and it's ready to vape.

Pros And Cons
Pros
Cons
Super Portable Size
Not Good For MTL
Amazing Flavor
Begginer Friendly

Conclusion
Honestly, I must say, I've liked this Argus G3 Mini more than its older brother, the Argus G3. Despite a slightly smaller battery, I think this one lasts longer than the previous one. Furthermore, it's very, very simple to use: you put in your liquid, wait, and then simply vape – perfect for someone starting to vape or quitting cigarettes. Rather than buying a disposable, it's better to invest your money in this.
