Got this in the mail this morning. Props to Heaven Gifts for the quick shipping!

This device is MUCH smaller than I thought it would be. From the looks of it, I was expecting something more like the Geekvape Aegis... it's quite comfy in the hand. The buttons feel clicky and there is no rattle anywhere.

The model I got was the black on black. I'm not a fan of splatter paint at all, but black on black... enh... I don't really even notice it. The only really visible branding is for the Gene chip... it's in white beneath the adjustment buttons. Everything else is black.

I just do not use subohm tanks, but this came with the PnP tank and a couple coils, so... here I go... easy coil installation, really wide range of airflow, bottom fill... hmm, really... bottom fill? Oh well... Since it came with mesh coils rated between 40 and 60 watts, I've been using it at 50 watts (of course, I primed it and started low and raised it up), and comparing it to my Kylin M AIO using the RBA also at 50 watts. It's comparable in terms of flavor, but I think the Kylin might have it beat on airflow...

After I've gone through the two provided coils, I'll probably shelve the tank, and use an RTA so I can test out the TC features.

More to come!

Working on day three with the Argus GT. I've noticed a few foibles...

1. If it sets for a while, it'll hibernate. I pick it up and mash the button and nothing, nada, zilch, zip... Look at the screen and all is well, hmmm... mash the button again, and voila! Vapor!! Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. This is probably in the manual, somewhere, but I didn't read that LOL. I imagine the reasoning there is to extend battery life, and if that's the case, it seems to work. I'm getting a solid day out of an aging set of Samsung 25R cells at 50 watts... going through about 3 tanks.

2. The coil in the PnP tanks is not forgiving... keep your eye on that liquid level. If it even gets close to empty, you'll get one of those eye-watering mesh dry hits. Only did that once, and now I watch it close. Note that when that happened, I thought there was enough liquid for a couple more pulls... treated it as I would one of my RTAs. The coil was still OK after I filled the tank back up and let it soak, so, not a true disaster...

Other than those two niggles, I've been quite pleased with the device and tank. I won't be testing the TC until I use up the coils, so that remains to be seen.

Oh... wait a minute... forgot one thing...

3. The tank does not appear to leak. I've gone 3 days at 3 or so fills per day, and had ZERO leakage. But, there is some condensation under the pod... Noticed this while filling, and ONCE - just once - there was enough condensation that the mod failed to read the coil when I popped it back on the device. A quick wipe, and all was well, but it needed to be mentioned.

But Shawn... how's it look?

Looks pretty good!

Sigh. I have a Vinci X that does the same thing. I use it with .8Ω Pn-P coils and I like it, but I'm constantly worried about condensation/leaks/eliquid getting into the mod.

Nice review, thanks, Shawn!

Because this is a 510 adapter base for the PnP tank, that problem has been basically eliminated.

Last night, as promised, I tried the device out with a TC build. Actually, did it twice. The first build was with the Advken Dominator. I made a 7 wrap 24AWG SS316L 3.5mm coil, and dropped that in. Never got a dry hit... always had a nice vape, BUT the resistance fluctuated quite a bit. I determined that the problem was the tank, not the mod. So, I built the Vandy Vape Mesh 24 RTA with a strip of SS316L mesh. Still no dry hits, and I've run it up to 450° and 80 watts (the max the device will allow). I've even allowed the tank to almost run dry... no problems... yet :)

I'll try to find something that will support dual claptons, next...

I agree. I love mini dual 18650’s and apparently they are feather light.

However, I read a disturbing review at Vaping360. They’d done some technical tests and they claim the following:

1. Although Voopoo claims the mod can hit at 160 watt in truth they could only get it to work to 102 watt.

2. Further Vaping360 stated the mod is good for Vaping till 75 watt. Once you start going higher the mod will have problems reaching the configured wattage.

Now I vape at 90+ Watt. Have you or anyone else tried to vape with this device at 90+ watt?
