Hi, today we're taking a look at the Argus Matrix, sent to me by VooPoo. In this review, I'll examine each of the features that distinguish this item. Hoping not to bore anyone, I will try to describe the device's packaging in a sufficiently comprehensive manner without going into too much detail. The Voopoo Argus Matrix's rigid cardboard packaging is extremely detailed in its graphic design, with references to Cyber Punk fashion. The small cardboard insert on the front shows: The manufacturer's logo is at the top, with the device name just below. In the center, an image of the Argus Matrix is displayed, alongside an icon that reminds us of VooPoo's icosm code 2.0 technology. On the back of the box, the name of the kit appears at the top, with the contents listed below, followed by the address, contact information, and the inevitable nicotine warnings. The two long sides contain the barcode, the Scratch and Check, and the main features in the form of icons. In essence, from the outside in, the Voopoo Argus Matrix packaging reflects a premium experience: a design designed to enhance the vape kit's sophistication and performance, even before using it.

I received the Iris Blue version of the Argus Matrix from VooPoo for this review. The ARGUS Matrix features a rather captivating cyber-futuristic design. The unique effect, described by the manufacturer as a "Full-Screen Curved Display," is generated by the unique curvature that embraces the front and sides of the device, creating a borderless visual effect that makes the display readable from various angles. The small, silvery-white digital display with crisp edges indicates power levels and draw duration. Intuitive yet deeply technological, this unique design features an IML film coating that allows for a sort of 3D visualization of the printed circuit boards and the "Power Core" chip, offering a dual sensorial immersion, both visual and tactile. The various iridescent LED lights pulse and breathe during the various phases; On/off, screen activation, vaping, or charging create an elegant flow of energy, as if energy were moving through a virtual, frenetic miniature metropolis within our Argus Matrix device.

On one of the long sides, we find the adjustment button, easily identifiable thanks to a slight protrusion. The opposite side of the Argus Matrix houses a sliding system for airflow control; it's easy to fine-tune the flow for a tight MTL draw or a smoother RDL draw supported by a maximum power of up to 30W.

• Pressing the button five times turns the mod on/off.
• Pressing the button three times flashes the wattage, then each subsequent press adjusts the wattage.
• Double-tapping the button turns the lights on/off.

The Type-C charging port is located on the bottom. The 1,350mAh battery inside can sustain a steady, powerful charge until it's time to recharge. The battery charges quite quickly at 2A in about 40 minutes. How do I check the battery level of the ARGUS Matrix? The ARGUS Matrix features a battery indicator on the front under the lightning bolt symbol. There are five lights representing five different battery levels, each showing a different battery level:

• 1 light on: 0%–20% battery level
• 2 lights on: 20%–40% battery level
• 3 lights on: 40%–60% battery level
• 4 lights on: 60%–80% battery level
• 5 lights on: 80%–100% battery level

The Pod Chamber houses two rectangular magnets, two gold-plated spring-loaded pins, and the sensor for activating the automatic puff.
The ARGUS Matrix kit is equipped with the fully upgraded ARGUS Top Fill V2 cartridge with iCOSM CODE 2.0 flavor interpretation technology.

The copper-bottom cartridge maintains consistent air pressure. The 3x denser copper base increases leak resistance by 83% and excels even under harsh conditions. According to VooPOO, the new "Big Coil" coil featuring Golden Cotton is the best in its class; it offers 30 days of pristine flavor with a 100ml capacity. The Golden Cotton offers superior heat resistance, certified to 5A aerospace grade, and can withstand temperatures up to 260°C, 73% higher than the 150°C limit of standard cotton. It offers a 300% longer lifespan and is designed to stabilize e-liquid absorption by increasing the coil size, resulting in instant saturation, while also slowing flavor degradation. The ARGUS Top Fill V2 cartridge offers good lip feedback; top filling requires lifting the rubber tip by inserting a fingernail underneath. The cartridge has a 2/3ml e-liquid capacity and currently features three different resistances: 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω, and 1.0Ω. Before first use, let the cotton saturate for 5 minutes.

The Argus Matrix's ability to tap into a maximum power of 30W is a perfect match for this cartridge, which delivers maximized flavor, smooth draws, and a significant amount of vapor. This 0.4Ω cartridge is dedicated to RDL vaping and features iCOSM CODE 2.0 technology with a larger coil and Golden Cotton, offering superior atomization standards that truly surpass all the competition in this market segment for this type of entry-level device.
