► VooPoo Drag Nano 2; First impressions:
Drag Nano 2 scales the Drag form factor into a sleek, rugged little pod device built from aluminum alloy. Voopoo presents the natural heir of the previous original Nano, addressing an entry-level user who will appreciate the ease of use with automatic activation of the Puff, moreover those who need a device that can be easily hidden from prying eyes could find the solution with this stealth object.

Drag Nano 2 is a very light and super compact device, easy to carry, with or without the included chain / collar.

Drag Nano 2 features a zinc alloy and aluminum alloy body. The side panels appear to be made with particularly smooth IML technology that hides a more fine texture or memo visible depending on the angle of exposure to light. Both panels are firmly fixed flush with the body. On one side we find the writing "DRAG" on the other side the writing "VooPoo".

The front side houses an AFC gate system controlled by a sturdy metal knob, sliding from top to bottom to narrow the puff and from bottom to top to increase the amount of air sucked in. At the bottom we find 3 small holes arranged vertically that house the notification and battery status LED, below there is the on / off button which also performs the task of selecting the 3 power levels.

The whole perimeter has a shiny metallic finish, very nice, but it is a real magnet for fingerprints.

In the upper part in one corner there is a sturdy hook for the collar, the latter is perhaps superfluous given the irrelevant weight of Drag Nano 2.
The Pod compartment houses the gold / plated pins for contact and no magnets! The cartridge coupling system uses a simple but effective interlocking system, just press the cartridge until you hear a reassuring click! A fairly strong action is required to extract the cartridge.

The bottom proudly labels the presence of the Gene chip and houses the micro USB-C port for charging.

► VooPoo Drag Nano 2; Cartridges:
The pod is made of transparent PCTG. Glycol-modified polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate is like PETG, but more resistant to chemicals. The 2ml capacity is more than enough for this low e-liquid consumption device. There is no mention of the coil or the breathable material used.
The apical part of the cartridge (Drip-Tip) is comfortable in contact with the lips and the air passage hole (chimney) is small and oval in section.
On the bottom of the cartridge there are gold-plated contacts and 3 small holes for the passage of air and the activation of the automatic puff sensor.

Even with the cartridge inserted in the body it is possible to remove the cap (Drip-Tip) by pressing it sideways until you hear the click. After removing the cap, we lift the black silicone tab and we can fill with the liquid through the appropriate hole. Reinsert the cap
carefully and make sure it is well fixed. It is recommended to fill the cartridge up to two thirds of the total capacity.
* Attention: If the cartridge is used for the first time, fill it with e-liquid and leave it to rest for at least 5 minutes, in this way the breathable material will be able to absorb the liquid avoiding its premature burn.

► Operation Guide:
• Power On / Off: Press the power button five times.
• Power adjustment: Press the button 3 times within one and a half seconds to enter the power adjustment mode, at this point, the light will always be on, press the button to change the wattage; High / White, Medium / Green, Low / Blue. If you do not continue with the operation, the light will turn off after 3 seconds to exit the adjustment mode.

• The corresponding lamp flashes during charging
• With the recharge completed, the three LED lights remain on
• During standard operation, the corresponding indicator lights up progressively
• When the battery is low, the red light blinks 10 times
• Short circuit The red light remains steady

► Final conclusions:
I didn't have the pleasure of testing the previous version of Drag Nano, but I would have loved to do it. This second version has favorably impressed me starting from the pocket size, the good level of finishes and the structural strength.

The GENE chip of Drag Nano 2 with automatic activation of the puff has all the necessary security options, interfaces with the user via a very bright and clearly visible notification LED and has a convenient multifunction button.
The automatic activation of the puff also works perfectly by sucking in a slow and constant way, even the management and duration of the 800mah battery charge seem well calibrated, the output seems regular from start to finish.

With the AFC gate down the air flow is quite restricted MTL type. Flavor rendering is very good with both cartridges, my favorite is 0.8Ω. I'm testing Drag Nano 2 with 6mg Colonel Custard. The flavor is full with proper heat, all the nuances of this liquid are present, and the vapor production with open AFC is notable for the type of device.

The quality of the vape with Drag Nano 2 is superior to that of many other devices with "disposable" cartridges, this device is excellent and reliable as an entry level starter kit. Comfortable to handle and widely adjustable even without a display. I expected as usual to see condensation in the compartment / pod but I was proved wrong, no leaks during the test! So I have no objection to make and I can recommend the purchase of Drag Nano 2.
