VooPoo on 08-12-2021 formalizes the release date of two new updated versions based on DRAG S / X in mod / Pod version and does so by introducing a new graphic design that pays homage to the glory and virtue of five medieval knights, there are also some technical innovations (one in particular) on which VooPoo aims to reconfirm itself as a market leader.

The black cardboard packs show on the front; the brand (VooPoo), the image of the device with two large wings in the background and the name that was chosen depending on the version. On the back they are listed; the content, scratch & check, warnings, address of Shenzhen Woody Vapes Technology Co., (VooPoo), international logos and brands and the wording "Sample" indicating the destination for brand reviewers and promoters.

Laterally they are present; some main features in the form of icons, the QR Code, various social icons where the brand promotes its business, indication of the color of the sample contained in the package, barcodes and batch number.

► VooPoo Drag X & S PnP-X Kit; First impressions:
In the past I have had the honor and pleasure of previewing the original versions of VooPoo's Drag X & S in a single review, so I feel once again lucky to be able to offer you my personal opinions on this new update of these Mod / Pods that have been so successful.

The use of a new tank with replaceable Drip-tip and with the comfortable refill from the top for the timeless and performing PnP coils in place of the previous and somewhat dated classic circular tank is the real novelty introduced by VooPoo and directly follows the setting of the Pod / Tank TPP recently used for the Drag S & Drag X PRO older sisters (both present in the family image below).

As I have already anticipated, the style with renewed decorations marries a tried and tested form factor derived from the previous series of Drag pod Mods, the arched design is perfect to perfectly adapt to the curvature of the fingers and has therefore been re-proposed "winning team does not. change ".

GENE.TT chipset communicates with the usual bright 0.96 inch TFT color screen, even the functions of both versions do not change and remain the known ones, so we have; SMART mode, RBA, weekly puff registration, total puff counter, SCORE, the latter function (score) can be downloaded and installed from the VooPoo site if desired.
At first glance, the impression is that of a simple restyling of the decorations with a tribute to the aforementioned knights. Measurements, construction materials, chipset, type of power supply (18650 for Drag X PnP-X) and integrated 2500mAh battery for the Drag S PnP-X version ... These are all factors reproduced in full.

To regulate the flow of air to the PnP coils, VooPoo has preferred to rely on the proven adjustable system with metal knob with two opposing slots, already known and appreciated on previous versions.

The compartment / pod can intelligently house all the circular tanks of VooPoo for RDL / DL so far seen and known, all this offers the user many and interesting combinations. Drag X & S PnP-X Kit differ on the bottom for the presence of the door / battery (Drag X) and for the number of rubber feet of the "non-slip" type, on Drag S there are four while on Drag X only two.

The Drag X PnP-X kit can therefore work with a single 18650 battery which allows the Mod to reach 80W of output power, while Drag S PnP-X uses a non-replaceable Li-Po battery with a capacity of 2500mAh capable of making reach the Mod a maximum output power of 60W. Both kits adopt a 5V / 2A Type-C fast charging port.

The new PnP-X Pod with 5ml capacity comes with the latest update previously introduced in the TPP tank regarding the system with button in the upper side, the silicone rubber now offers a better grip for the fingers facilitating and further speeding up the filling operation. The huge amount of PnP coils available on the VooPoo catalog, the "infinite" airflow system together with the possibility of being able to replace the Drip-Tip 510 allows to support a wide range of airway adjustments to meet all needs .
* The Tank PnP-X Pod will soon be available for purchase also separately both in the Pod only version and in the Pod + AFC base version with 510 thread for universal Mod.

► VooPoo Drag X & S PnP-X Kit; Instructions for Use:
• On / Off: Press the Fire button 5 times.
• Chip ID display: Press the "+" and "-" keys together.
• Lock / Unlock: Press the Fire and "+" keys together, the product cannot be used during the lock function.
• Smart / RBA: Choose the mode you want by quickly pressing the Fire button 3 times, the Smart mode (red background color) automatically detects the resistance and directly sets the power in the recommended range of use, avoiding errors and damage to the coil. The RBA mode (blue color) allows the user to set the power manually.
• P&A (press and auto): Drag PnP-S offers both automatic and manual use modes
• Puff reset: Press the Fire and "-" keys simultaneously.
• Score Mode: This special feature can be downloaded on the official VooPoo website after verification of the customer's age.
• Software Update: Consumers have access to update to the latest software version on the official VOOPOO website (www.voopoo.com), it requires the specific USB Type-C cable to connect to the computer which comes with the product. The side of the Type-C cable marked "▲" must be facing down. Keep the device fully charged to do this.

► VooPoo Drag X & S PnP-X Kit; Final conclusions:
With the arrival of these two new Drag, I rediscovered the pleasure (never forgotten) of using this type of device with a "brutal" power delivery combined with a tank / pod that is not new, but it is improved. The PNP-X-POD-TANK is able to enhance the overall yield of the PnP coils thanks to the greater choice of AFC adjustments due to the possibility of choosing your favorite 510 Drip-Tip, but also offers greater reliability as regards the lower condensation. The GENE TT is an undoubtedly proven and reliable chipset; always able to provide remarkable performance together with these Entry Level systems which I believe to be very suitable for those who want to easily approach a type of "universal vape". The automatic puff as in the first versions of Drag Pod / Mod remains the prerogative of the version with integrated battery, so also in this case this function is only present on the "S" version.

Great review! So did the auto draw work better on this one than the last one?

On Drag-S auto drawt works as usual and the AFC opening needs to be slightly limited to properly activate the pressure sensor. The Drag-X version does not support auto draw.

I wasn’t impressed with the auto draw on the last one is the reason I asked.
