Mod and tank pairings can cause differences in vape quality, to be honest. For one, many power boards aren't identical, so you may be getting slightly more or less wattage.

Bubbles of air in the tank aren't abnormal, really. It's a sign that the tank is vaping well. As far as the airflow differences, I have to say it just may be your tank and your mod interacting with each other. I'm not sure the airflow matters much, other than to say that if you run it less than wide open, it may become "less thirsty." It's a fairly thirsty tank, so I'd just recommend running it on whatever mod suits you//it best.

Some things in vaping are just mysterious. Etc.

As Anna said bubbles coming from bottom of tank are good sign... they indicate that your tank/cotton/coil is working properly... amount of air in bubble going up is more or less amount of juice that was evaporated by puff you made. I like to vape my Siren with all 5 holes fully open with pretty long draw and my bubbles of air are sometimes pretty big... but I was always person who hated drinking any liquid through a small straw...:)

The air bubble(s) you saw are normal, and an indication that the tank is functioning properly.

When you take a draw from the tank, you're creating negative pressure inside the tank. The consumed e-liquid is replaced by air (the air bubble) as the tank seeks to equalize the pressure inside the tank again.
