So I've been thinking about this for quite awhile. Maybe I don't do as much as I could to stand up for us as vapers. I sign a petition when I can, post comments on proposed bills and send e-mails to people/organizations of interest, but I really would like to know (specifically in California as that's where I live) what politicians are sympathetic to our cause?

If anyone has any idea or documented information on California politicians or any other state politicians who are pro e-cigarette, please post here. Perhaps if enough reliable information is posted, I could edit this post to summarize it in preparation for polling days and we'll all be sure to keep one of our interests in mind. :)

Well, for starters, Gov Schwarzenegger, who I believe was the first politician who actually did anything positive for us by vetoing the ban on the sale of ecigs in CA.

Good point, gotta love the good governor for that.:D

But I guess this thread could go in 2 possible directions:

1. List of actions relating to vaping of all politicians. 1 Pro-Vape section, 1 Anti-Vape section.

or

2. Information relating to vaping of only representatives up for election/on the ballot.

1. would seem more like a "hall of fame" of sorts. 2., in my opinion would be more useful come polling day.

Thoughts?

Do your best to defeat Jerry Brown!!!!!

As Attorney General, he filed suit against electronic cigarette companies for supposedly making false claims.

Why not send an email to the other candidates, tell them your story briefly, and ask them where they stand on the issue?

8-o Thanks for the info! Will cast my vote accordingly!

Also, good advice. I will try to get on that later this coming week when I have more time.
