A while ago i bought a VP1 from dietsmokes for my mom. I bought it because it had extremely good battery life and had great reviews. But since i bought it for my mom i forgot to consider the hitting power of the unit. This thing is extreme!! My mom cannot even hit it for 2 seconds without bursting out coughing because the hits are so massive. Ive been trying over and over again to contact dietsmokes and ask them what other e cig i can buy that has a weaker hit but after 3 emails, no answer back. Please someone help. Also is there a way to buy a new "atomizer" (i think thats what its called) to make it weaker but keep the VP1 battery??

Dont know what will fit, but a higher ohm atomizer might tame the battery a little.
Low resistance or HIGH HIT is 1.7-2.0ohm
Mid range or most common is 2.3-2.5ohm little easier on batt, but still good hit
High end usually used for higher voltage is 2.8-3.2 ohm might tame a regular 3.2/3.7V battery.
Sure their are others, but this should give you an idea of what to look for once you figure out what will work with that battery.

Also make sure she isnt SMOKING it. Biggest mistake I made was drawing on it like an analog, coughed my ... off. Tell her to hit it like a cigar (MOUTH HIT) then as she gets used to it, she can inhale the mouth hit.

Also remind her that she probably coughed with the first cigarette she smoked, but eventually got used to it and adapted her draw to something comfortable for her.

I think its a joye510 or something. Im not that sure. She tried a low nicotine tip on it but she still coughed. It wasnt even a hit. Like a small little puff and she started coughing. After that she just stopped using it. If someone can just tell me the exact one to buy off of the dietsmokes site that would be a big help

For the best help and accessories for you VP please contact VaprLife

First of all, when I started vaping I coughed a lot too, I coughed for 3 weeks then it stopped, it is the garbage that is in your moms lungs from the cigs that she is coughing up.

What I would suggest is that you get a 510 battery to 801 atomizer adapter. Then purchase some 801 atomizers which are a much lighter vape then the 510's your mom is currently using. I think she will be able to tolerate this much better.

If you have further questions please contact Mary at VAPRLIFE.com, they are the "Maker" of this unit and can help you out in any way that you need. They are super helpful and friendly.

On the ecig mod database it shows that the VP1 uses an 801 atty. If that's the case, it could very well be the way she's vaping on it. If it is using the 510 though, the advise to get an 801 is sound.

Remind her to take long, slow drags, holding the vaper in her mouth, and then quickly inhale/exhale into the lungs. It feels very different at first, but once she gets used to it it will become second nature. That and possibly trying a different juice that isn't as harsh too.

It might say that on the database but all vaprlife's mods came with a choice of 801 or 510. I have every single one of them, but prefer the 801 with adjustable draw option.
