Vtank clone broke in half tonight (pic)

Yeah so I picked up a Vamo a while back from a Chinese vendor, it came with a V-tank. It doesn't say "vapeonly" so I'm assuming it's a clone. It broke clean in half tonight, dumping 5 ML of juice all over my hands and lap.



I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, I just want to make sure it's toast before I dump it all into the garbage. As you can see, the fourth part from the left has separated. There are no threads I can see, there was probably a tiny "weld" or solder joint; maybe it was just clamped together. It doesn't even look like the same material.

I kind of liked the tank at first, as it gave tasty vapor and big draws, but then it became pretty leak-prone, pretty quickly. I also didn't like that it was my only clearomizer which required a needle tip to fill.

So anyway, I'm about to throw it away.

p.s. In case anybody cares, I didn't drop it or anything, I was just trying to tighten it down a little to slow the leakage.

I had the battery in one hand, the whole top of the tank in the other.

The carto is likely toast, but don't throw the pieces away!!! Get a scrap box for such parts, you may be able to use one or two in the future to fix another carto even if it's a different type or brand. At the very least the coil head may be usable in the carto you buy to replace this one....

Is it just a press / friction fit? If so, may be able to press it back in....

And yes, keep the pieces. Looks like a typical bottom coil head, PT2 glass.... Spare parts are good to have in the box.
