VTR and short tanks

Hmm, I thought the VTR came with an adapter thing to boost up smaller tanks?

It does, however that puts the tank too high for my liking. with the adapter on, it looks more like an MVP, and if that's what I wanted, I would have bought it at about half the price. The Protanks and iSmoka BCCs sit just a tad too low, but with the adapter they are way too high for my liking. I needed something in between the two. I would love a 1/2 sized adapter, but until then, my spare parts seem to work just fine ...

When I first saw the design of the VTR, my first thought was how it would restrict what tanks could be used with it.

What you are using in the pic doesn't look that bad to me. If it vapes great, don't sweat how it looks.

As long as it works, that's all that counts. I've got some crazy colored tanks just because it was the only color available when I ordered. I vape with them anyway.... Cuz they work!!

Lol ... yeah, I'm more about function than form myself. I also have some crazy colored stuff for the same reason. The thing with the VTR though is that it already has trouble with the 510 wheel. I'm wondering if the base on the one in the link might provide better stability.

Besides, it would give me a reason to buy more vape gear. As long as I'm paying shipping I might as well make it worthwhile

Looks sweet!

The only thing I don't like is that the ring is gone. I like the ring on the VTR as it provides a touch of added protection to my tanks. I admit it adds a bit of PITA factor to cleaning the contacts and devices that will fit. However, I'm pretty rough on my gear sometimes, so rugged and protective is better for me!

You should pick up a tank "airflow controller." Theyre like $3 and give you about 3/4 of an inch of a lift. I use one to maximize the height of my igo-w on my vtr (even though this still requires a long drip tip).
