Got a VV Gripper just about a month ago and im really loving it so far, setting my voltage to get just the right taste and throat hit has made vaping so much better! Love the boxy, small form factor, but to be honest its always bothered me that the tank is just sticking so far out of the mod, as it looks kinda awkward to me. Maybe im not alone? Maybe some smart folks out there have already come up with a mod that allows the tank to be inserted into the mod leaving only the mouthpiece visible and accessible? I know some people like to show off their beautiful tank setups, and that's cool by me. Personal expression is important! Me? I'm mainly looking for full function and compact portability, with just a little flair.

So tell me, does this ultra-compact, vv, box mod really exist, or has it yet to hit the market? If it doesn't exist Ill just have to kitbash something together, but that just seems so daunting right now! I'm still very much a newb when it comes to custom mods. Thanks!

Not sure what you consider "ultra compact"
Two of the full size REOs are variable voltage bottom feeder box mods, they both take 2 IMR 18350 batteries
None of the smaller REOs are VV

VV Woodvil
Variable Voltage Woodvil

VV REO Grand - Height: 4 1/4" Width: 1-11/16" Depth: 15/16"
VV Reo Grand

There are plenty of other VV juice feeder box mods out there also, you just have to look

Yeah Reo was my thought exactly. You can even get the regular one and kick it. Here is my baby.

We are getting ready for a day at vapercon. With the kick you get variable wattage which means no matter what device I put on there I get a similar vape. It automatically adjusts the power for me to my preference.

Yeah, that's real close to what I have in mind. And not to knock any of this awesome tech, because that's exactly what it is. But, in my head im picturing something about as short as the VV gripper ( 3 1/8") with a tank about the diameter of a Smoktech DCT that connects to a 510 connection down in the mod, leaving just the top of the tank and the mouthpiece sticking out of the mod. This is (ideally) what I mean by "ultra-compact". I carry my VV Gripper with me everywhere and most of the time it fits really nicely in my front shirt pocket, just the mouthpiece will poke out of the top of the pocket and that's fine by me. Although some days, I wear shirts without a pocket, so I put it in my jeans pocket. This is okay too as long as im not sitting down with it in there, because I can see a big risk putting stress on the carto connection to the mod. Its the weakest link, as it were.

So yeah if the honest truth is that kind of setup just doesn't exist yet I can accept that. It could be that not many people really want something that low key, or maybe you just cant fit all that tech in such a small form factor just yet. Whatever the reasons, im not really gonna pout about it, In fact I really appreciate the replies. I was just throwing something out there in case my dream mod has been just around the corner and im overlooking it.

The best part is the fact that since I cant really find this "perfect" mod, its really making me think about how you would go about making it work, and I now have a few rough ideas swimming around in my head. Maybe its time to fire up my 3D modeling program and start making mock-ups!
