A little off topic, does the VVG use pulse width modulation? I pretty have stayed away from VV devices since moving to mechs because of the rattle snake sound. I know the Provari's use a high enough mhz that you pretty much get a constant voltage. What about these?
I'm a little OCD, so each VVG has had the wheel marked at 3.5, 4.2 and 5 volts. I used one of those in-line voltage meters and marked the wheel with a silver sharpie at those settings.

Wheel adjustable voltage dial
Improved battery life 2 x 's avg. , we have a new controller that is MUCH more efficeint. avg. 12 hrs per charge
batteries (16340 type)
3-3 to 5.5 volt adjustment
Reverse battery protection
Over current protection
Over temp. protection http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/224539-vv-reos.html#post4150861
I don't notice any sound with any of my VV REO's. The voltage stays constant until it shuts down.
Thanks for all the help folks. I pulled the trigger tonight and ordered a metallic blue VV Grand, a rm2, as well as 4 18350 AW IMR batts from rtdvapor. Looks like cinni Mini and rough and tumbled Grand are gonna have a big bro soon...
Thanks again everyone!
