Thanks oplholik I can take it :) My hands are tied I ordered the parts with plenty of time to spare . There was a problem at the factory that makes the vv units . I have done this enough times I am usually close to my planed release dates . I will email Mike this weekend for a eta on the chips and get back to you folks with any info that is passed on to me

You can only do what you have control over Rob. I know others our chomping on the bit and ready but some of us can use the extra time. :)

We know you want to get them out to everyone just as bad as we want to get them.
Take care Rob.

On the mini...I did it once to make sure I knew how to do it...because someone asked. When I did it, I simply took a small pointy metal object (like an icepick, awl or in my case a letter opener: paperclips are too flimsy) and pushed the little locking pin into the button.

The new button on the VV Grands don't have this problem at all as the on/off switch is inside the mod and the button is only made for pushing. :)

I never disagree with you Lisa but unless my purple 2 month old Grand had the old button it still would turn enough from just normal use to enable it to fire...a constant annoyance and seem to happen more frequent with the new button top. :(

EDIT: I misunderstood your saying the NEW VV don't have this problem. We still always agree ...YAY.

What size batteries does the VV Grand take? I ordered AW icr 123 16340 protected batteries but saw a picture and it had 18350.

They take either 16340s or IMR 18350s

Thank you. Haikus make me feel peaceful

I wish I was the author. Someone gave me a t-shirt with that on it a few years back.
