I think there is probably a market for that button. I am perfectly happy with the current button and I think most probably would be too but some just have to have a button that looks like a button. Nothing wrong with that, just a preference some have but those that do usually feel pretty strongly about it. Having both options is a win/win for the customers. Hopefully for you as well Rob.

I've just found these online and curious why they are so pricey. I'm new to vaping, and no way am I hating on these mods. These are nice looking and seem to be a great addition to my collection. Maybe somebody that knows more can help me justify buying one.

Welcome, CoonHound :)
In short, these are not cheap to make. It seems like they should be, but when you think about all the design work, prints, purchase of materials and tools, machining, tumbling, finishing, assembling and all the parts, shipping.....it really starts to add up. He's brought a lot of the mod building in house so he can keep a closer eye on the build process. Many of us have even told him that he isn't charging enough for these...but then, it's his business, not ours. They are pricey because they don't just wear out. It's a device that many of us figure will last longer than we will.
So in justifying buying one...when I was transitioning from smoking to vaping, I considered the cost of my smoking habit/month and then looked at the cost of a REO and accessories. It was cheaper to buy the REO and accessories a couple times a month for us in this household, and we'd still have money left over. I know that smokes don't cost as much in most states as they do here....but for us it was a considerable difference. I think the most terrifying aspect for someone who hasn't quit smoking yet is they don't have faith that vaping can replace smoking. That money spent on this is no longer there for smokes, just in case they need them. I can't give them an easy answer there....that's a leap they will take when they're ready. Honestly...if I had the knowledge back then that I have now, I wouldn't even flinch at the cost.
I hope that helps :)

Leave alone what you have gained in general health...even if it would have been more expensive to vape compared to smoke i wouldn't save a buck here...

And please Rob...go for the bigger button, even better in anodized alluminium

As many here, when I started vaping I bought a relatively cheap E-Cig, tried cartridges, then cartos, then LR, then tanks, then ce2, then bla, bla, bla... you get my point.

I started reading all the praises the Reo had and I thought, "well, since I have spent all this money on not so satisfactory stuff, and considering all the money I spent on tobacco, I might just well give it a try, and if I don´t like it, I can sell it in the classifieds... so I bought a Mini Reo; then, I just stopped buying things! (except for 2 Reo Grands, a VV Reo and 2 rebuildable atties).

Yes, the mod is not cheap, but it will pay itself pretty soon...

Price like taste is subjective The Reo mods are THE Toughest most durable longest lasting best customer service of all mods known to man and if that's not enough there also made in the good old USA not to mention if you should ever want to sell it they have 1 of the best resale values

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy Tipped Reo

If I were to order a vvgrand, I would like the larger side button.

Lisa was kind enough to let me try her beta vvgrand and while the wee side button was easier on my hands and fingers the larger side buttons on my woodvil and vvw are better for these old hands and fingers. I found that I had to apply more strength to get the vvgrand to fire.

All and all, I find side buttons work better for me than the top buttons.

Thank you, Robert, for caring for your customers and what works best for them!

Since the grand vv is a good pv but i think that the button is really small con my hands.
So i did a new button for mine use.
It's in delrin and it's a simple cover to add to the original one.

I may be offering this button option on some of the vv grands your opinions are welcome

While I do like the buttons on the VV Woodvil, I really love the VV Grand recessed area and button. Would probably go with how it is now if I buy another.

I do think having the option for this button is a good customer service move. Can always count on you Robert to go that extra step!

Hey, I like that one, pretty much the best of both worlds. May I ask where you got the button... and does it stay on securely?

It stay on securely.
I did it on my lathe.
I think Rob woulb think to do a similar mod to sell.
If u want to do one for your self u need an internal hole (of the cover) of 3.25 mm and it fit perfectly.
Else u can do an hole of 3.5 mm and use some product like this one (http://www.pintatumesmo.com/produtos/big/pintatumesmo47494684440.jpg) that is NOT permanent (so u can remove when u want) but it has a very good grip.
