My fiance + mother both looked at the pic of the cut out reo and started drooling.

For a second there, I read that as your fiance was also your mother.

Rob: I love the design. I've seen pictures of some other VV wood juice feeders and they look a mess inside. Yours looks clean and functional.

Oh look, there's room for a magnet under the bottle. Or maybe you plan to put an on/off switch there. My Woodvil never gets turned off. :)

Rob, I'm a craftsman of virtually everything from fine jewelry, furniture, gemstones to fine woodworking, and I have to admit that I really admire your attention to detail and craftsmanship. This is one of the reasons I'll be getting a Reo. The other reasons are me thinking this is the kind of Mod I would be most satisfied with. But hey, i'm going to send you a PM, I have a question for ya about wood stuff. ;)

vv woodvil prototype

Interesting.
16340 batteries.
But do I see it correct, that there would be enough space (wood to take away), so that 18350s could fit in there? I am a big fan of the 18350s. I have millions of them here around on my living room table. The have the same very strong cells like the famous AW IMR 18650.

Remember, the Woodvil 18490 was chosen because of much much more power than the 14500.

Thank you and it just may be the mod for you.I think vv nice but I still love the simplicity of a 3.7 volt mod . Its always in the details in any trade many can do it but few really care enough to take the extra time. I got your pm I will reply this evening :)

They should fit I have some ordered do to arrive tomorrow. I will give you a update as soon as I have the facts .

Very nice. Does this mean you are about to drop an ETA on us?
ETA lol one of my favorite words. You realize I wake up at nite all I hear is voices chanting eta over and over. Kidding aside 6 to 8 weeks and this is a estimate

Question for Rob. Wouldn't a cutout in the body of the Metal VV, like the one in picture where sqounk hole comes around to back, compromise the strength of the body? The classic squonk hole, in door, has been proven, several times, to withstand getting run over by various vehicles. Door can be a weak point but easily replaced.

BTW... the cutout side/back look is not very appealing to me. I'll live with it if I have to, though.

You are correct Alice it would. Those were just ideas being tossed around. The vv grand will look like a grand it is a vv grand after all. I mentioned doing a new model down the road witch I am looking forward to. We will do polls take votes debate ideas and build a mod that everyone well most people will be happy with>I don't think its possible to make a mod that everyone likes but I am always game

It's gonna be quite a squeeze to get 18350s in there. I know stacked 18350s are at least 2mm taller and another 2mm wider. That spring looks pretty compressed as it is. If anyone can do it, it is rob.

I agree though, I love 18350s.
