they said "we are still under the gun right now and for several hours. everything west of Fort Worth okay. DH hasn't called in a while. He's in east Fort Worth.
We think we are spared by the escarpment, somewhat. Last bad tornado, to hit, directly, was downtown Cedar Hill, in the 1800s, when Cedar Hill was Dallas Co. county seat. It wiped out the town. We do get 100 mph straight line winds but usually they only take out fences, shingles, power lines. When I step out I can hear sirens all directions but ours hasn't gone off and we have power. Hope I haven't jinxed us.

Just lost electricity. See. Jinxed us. Posting helps me keep grounded. It's black as night outside. Have the BayGen Freelplay going now. It has shortwave but I haven't had antenna out since Y2K. Part of my "antenna" was metal slinkys .;-)

Having data problems. Tornado Emergency now in Hunt Co. Large tornado on ground heading towards Greenville. Send prayers and thoughts to those many in need please.
