Oh I'm not sure, I hope though, the run times are much much better then the 16340 AW that's for sure. I know one thing protected circuit or not if I'm stacking Batts there going to either be protected or IMR I'm not running the unprotected powerizers.

*sigh*.....my ninja skills probably ain't up to defeating you, but I'm afraid we're going after the same animal. Have a heart and let someone who doesn't already have a very nice looking RED stabilized VV woodvil hanging around?

Nah you have every chance in the world to defeat me. As mentioned before Im in the sale to get Pietro a VV of his choice and will be way too late getting around to the Woodvil party in hopes to snag any of them let alone that beauty. :)

Powerizers right from the company are a bit less expensive, but at least for me the s&h was high. I bought a pair when Buzz was testing batteries last Summer.

Other good batteries are the trustfire black flame jacket protected icr (nominal 880 mAh iirc, test a bit lower) and aw icr protected 750 mAh. Rtdvapor lists the aw as in stock. Buzz is going to pick up the trustfires, direct from the company to ensure they aren't counterfeit.

Shipped mine USPS priority and the price was to the point that I figured out at the time I got 2 more batteries and saved 11 dollars. That is quite a bit. But I bought 8.

Good info on the other batteries as well. Love my black aw's I use them in my VV MKBoxx.

I honestly don't see much advantage to individually protected batteries vs. mod level electronics protection, though appreciate that some people want it, nothing wrong with redundancy; it is a marginal plus up if the mod has good electronics. The battery level protection is an external circuit added to the unit, within the wrapper, which does short circuit, over current, etc.

If someone wants more protection, I believe they need to take the hit on available energy and shift to the imr chemistry. The pv electronics will still provide current, temperature, short circuit, and reverse battery protection, while the imr chemistry is just a bit less volatile if a battery has an internal fault.

Imr can still have a bad day, report of an aw imr that had a thermal issue in another forum area; it can happen. On internal battery faults, whether residual internal metal manufacturing defect or through abuse in use (bad charging, physical abuse of the battery), protection circuitry, whether mod or battery level, won't help, a vent event will occur.

Apologies for the diversion, I'll stop yapping now :)

That looks like one of the ones I bought in my quest - if it is, it's wider around, can't cram it into the grand without it being squeezed by the batts.

Dave depending how much your 18xxx squeezed that bottle, you might be able to use it with the 16340's in the VV Grand's?

Have you tried the mnke imr 16340? (I haven't, just curious.)

I haven't tried their 16340s, only batts of that size I have are IC protected AW ones, but I have MNKE IMR batts in other sizes (as well as AW). Honestly, I can't tell any difference in performance from the equivalent AW ones. I assume the same would hold true with their other sizes. Out of the battery brands whose IMRs I've used, BDL is the only one that disappointed . . . in a big way

Did you know on the reosmods site you can choose to display 50 per page?

There are only 3 pages if viewing 50 per page. This makes it easier if you must change pages during a sale.

See, I don't keep ALL the secrets! I share.............some! LOL

If you have not ordered on a sale night you will want to read the information on this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/195878-so-you-going-order-reo-process.html

Be prepared for the reosmods site to load very slow. Don't get impatient and click buttons more than once. Yell, pound your fists on your desk, and cuss if you must, but just wait!

If you get stuck and it will not go to the payment screen check your cart. Your item may no longer be available. You must remove it from your cart and update the cart. Then make another choice.

I did not try with 16340's - they're a bit narrower than the 18350's (and, of course, 18650's) so they'd allow a little more room for the bottle in an undivided compartment like in the VV Grand. With the divider in the regular Grand though, you'd still run into problems. Since the suggested battery for stacking the VV's is the 18350, the quest continues.

I probably shouldn't be sharing any secrets this close to a sale that I have a keen interest in, but I show my REO pages at 300 per, to keep it all on one page. Go on and switch it to 50, then in the URL bar at the top of the browser, change the '&limit=' parameter from 50 to 300 and hit enter. Bookmark that puppy and you're armed for the sale.

How will that work when the site is down and you must sign back on?
