I really do like it. This is a beautiful mod. It might be too elegant for me. Seriously. I'm pretty used to metal or plastic PVs. Every time I pick this up, I feel compelled to wipe it down for smudges and finger prints.

Ditto. It's gonna be just like my Ric, I won't really use it until I've dinged the perfection out of it. Until then, I can't help but handle it like a Faberge' egg or something.
Here they are in all their glory. Our First Run VV Woodvils. 5-03-2012

Definitely passed the test for me today. I started vaping about 10:00 a.m. went to work at 4:30, vaped on and off until now (11:30 p.m.) and haven't had to change the batteries yet. Just a tad over half the bottle is gone. Using a 2.0 Boge carto all day at whatever voltage (sorry not sure). I like the feel of it in my hands, a little grippy or stickyish, soft and smooth. A very nice win with this mod and well worth the agony of buying it
Am I right in assuming ( I heard this but forgot ) that since we are stacking the 700 mAh it is still only 700 mAh? or is it 1400 mAh?
longest lasting 700 mAh I've ever used.....weird![]()
Stacked, you have 7.4v with 700mah. If they were wired in parallel, you'd have 3.7v with 1400mah.
I have tried marking my batteries with a "Permanent" Sharpie marker, but it rubbed off fairly quickly just from handling them. I would like to run my batteries in matched pairs for safety and don't know how to tell them apart. Has anyone found something neater that nail polish with its brush applicator to mark on batteries with?
I had a used AW IMR 14500 go nuclear on me in my pocket in the grocery store a few months ago. It got madly hot and was burning me through my pocket on my leg. I took it out of my pocket, burned my hand doing so, and threw it on the floor and then went and alerted the store office so they could remove it immediately and treat it with safety. (I told them it could blow up, which I doubt it would outside of a unvented container), because I wanted them to have the removal person to be extra careful. The battery in question had not acted strangely before it suddenly got so hot in my pocket. I did have a little change in the pocket that it may have come in contact with and it was too hot to touch as well.
Normally, I love and trust AW high drain batteries; however, I just want to be extra careful because I don't want anything to harm my beautiful new vv Woodvil or me either. Hence, I want to run my batteries (both 18350s and 16340s) in matched sets within their respective sizes.
Mark with marker and then put a piece of scotch tape over that, vertical or part round. I've been marking the newest with metallic silver and gold for dates, except I use the black sharpie for 1a/1b, 2a/2b etc., and cover any of the markings. Holds up pretty well. Silver dates was for batteries first two months of 2012 and a little earlier and then changed to gold last month to make it easier to see. Not sure what next metallic color will be.
Hot battery in pocket with loose change is begging for a burn. Another REOnaut had one get really hot in pocket with change. Neither of us put a spare battery in same pocket with anything metal. When I carry a loose battery, in pocket, it goes in pocket with only something plastic like chap-stick.
Evening all. Been a really busy day.
So exciting that VV Woodvils are trickling in!!!!!!!!!
Hugs, Feisty Alice
Alice has had great success in defeating this by putting the mod in some unused coffee grounds for a day or two.
Doesn't the coffee grounds get everywhere in the mod, like the electronics and stuff? Since it's wood you can't even wash it. Does the coffee odor stick?
