So, a year ago I switched insurance companies (after 10 years) and recently got a nice large deposit in my checking account that turned out to be a refund from me cancelling my policy. I'm very happy with my 900 mah ego and boge cartos, but am curious about VV vaping. I thought about getting a V-go or go-go, but they just don't seem to be that much of an upgrade from my ego. I don't want a box mod, I'll say that up front. vaping from something that reminds me of those single serving cereal boxes just isn't for me. Maybe some day, but not now. So I want to know about tube mod options. I've seen some reviews of some tube mods. While I dislike the idea of a cereal box mod, I like the idea of wrapping my lips around the massive tube mods that look like something my fiancee hides in her nightstand drawer even less. The provari would be my last option. It is pretty big, but for the amount of options it has, I could deal with it. While I do have more than enough to cover the cost of provari, I'd like to spread this money around to other stuff, not blow it on a mod, charger, batts, etc. Especially since I'm happy with my ego right now. But from reading about others saying higher voltage vaping blows 3.7 vaping out of the water, I want something. I read up on the Buzz which isn't variable but is higher voltage, and the infinity which "will be released soon". Anything else out there that's not like a cereal box or adult toy sized? I don't know that my ego is joye brand so I'm unsure about the booster I've seen people post about. Plus I don't know if I like the idea of having my all day ego turned into a 4 hour battery and be back to the days of my 801 where I had to carry around 4 batteries to make it through the day.

Ok, after doing a little more research, that looks like my best bet. I think I'll go with that for the time being. I have an ego-t kit (don't use the tanks though lol) which I got in a contest and a regular ego mega kit which is genuine according to the website. The 650s actually say ego-t on the side, so presumably they're the real thing. So yup, I'll give the booster a shot.

They do sell a Vari voltage ego at vapor-age.com. It can go up to 4.2. I was researching on VV pass though and found that site. IDK anything about the vendor. I do know that I just bought the PIPER D pass though VV for car trips.

I do own a VV buzz. Its gigantic, bulky and I cannot take it to work. I cannot wait for a true mass produced sexy VV unit. If I didn't have the buzz I would have purchased the VV ego.

Another mod you can check out is the Sparkplug v3... its a 3.7v device but you can get the thermo tube for 6v vaping.

The full kit is also on sale currently for $35 shipped!
I had one of the original Sparkplugs, and I had issues with the aluminum Atty threads stripping . It happened twice in a period of only a few months. Maybe they've fixed that issue, but you may want to look into it.

If you want a solid 6v device, check out the P14 by Super-T Manufacturing. I don't have one, but I do have the P16, and the craftsmanship is amazing.

so the sparkplug uses propietary attys? or the threads on the battery itself stripped?

I checked that one out too. Looks like it really doesn't do anything more than a regular ego. Instead of "boosting" it just allows you to change how weak you want it to be since you can't increase it anymore than a reg ego batt. And it only comes in 650 mah, I would want at least 900-1000. That's what I gathered from what I read anyway.
