On the contrary, with a .3 ohm build, I could easily drain a fully charged 18650 from 4.2V to 3.7V in 30 minutes.

.3

Well duh.

Funny at .9 I get 7 or 8 hours.easy. sometimes 10 or more on my 2900's but super subbers can't use those batteries hehe

Maybe if people quit trying to pull enough amps to run a 60" television they would have a different view.

.9 ohms on an RDA in a mech mod? I can't imagine that is a satisfying vape. Additionally it takes a lot more than 60W to power a television.

I run my Reo at 1.2 ohms - more satisfying vape than my Mutation X v3 on my Paragon at 0.6 ohms. In fact, it's usually more satisfying than my Subtank Mini on my Vapor Flask at 0.5 ohms at 28w...better than my STM on my VF at 1.2 ohms at 20w as well. It's all subjective.

People managed to have satisfying vape before people went super-sub-ohm. Its not so much the resistance as it is the build, and all the other factors.

I realize that, I used to use junky 2 ohm carto tanks. Never really enjoyed it/it never got me to actually quit smoking. Wasn't until I went to an RDA with low ohms/higher vapor production that I could actually quit.

I've made 1 ohm coils, and I've thrown them on my mech mod, but never with much luck. Maybe I need to use thinner wire, or not make contact coils? I don't really know what the trick is to it, I just find that my best RDA resistance range is .3 ohms for mech mods (which I rarely use these days), and .6 ohms for regulated mods (usually at 60W). I like large-wrap coils, I'm by no means a "super sub ohmer".

It's subjective. I use 28g to make a 1.2 ohm coil. It works for me. It's satisfying for me, but what works for me may not be good or work for you. It depends on your tastes. If I make a 1ohm coil from 26g, I'll use it on my VW device. 28g I'll use on my mechs. It's all subjective.
