Having sold prototype number 1, and needing to vape, built prototype number 2.

When building it, these cases have a port for a USB socket, however if you dont use it the blank is a waste, and before I have put a switch there, but couldnt with a Volt display, so this time I thought.... could a volt display fit in the top.... well... it can... just.

Had to actually file the edge of the volt display, and because it is a hell of a squeeze, the atty connector is slightly ......, but that makes it easier to vape in a strange way.

Again, added a switch, although this time its on the side, and it switches the display on and off, and if the display is off it switches an LED on, this time the light tunnel for the LED is a simple hole drilled, then filled with semi translucent silicone.

Nice, but aesthetically I prefer the v1 layout more. The case has that rectangle which looks made for the display, and the thumbwheel offset the atty connector well. The ends are small and the side is big so it makes sense to have little things on the ends, big things on the side. Just my 2 cents, still grand work.

Yeah, me too, the box insert at the front I do actually have something planned for that, was going to try to do 2 volt displays, but there simply is not enough clearance between them.

The atty connector will be more square tomorrow, have worked out how to fix the lack of space. But there is more to come on this mod.

Nice work, I also liked the LED location in version 1 better (on the side).

Thumbs up for the box though, looks nicer than the usual square black plastic box
