ok great!! and another thing is to hide that ugly tube as it looks like I am carrying intensive care equipment!

I usually twist it around the atty, but I wanted to talk about it in the review, so I didn't. You very easily could hide it though. You could pull it into the bottle area, and fix it against the atty with something.

ok, but why not make it when sold with an adapter right away and a dripshield where you can hide the tube, then you have it perfect in one go instead of waiting and/or ordering other parts afterwards......anyway, thank you for the review and have fun with it!

How deep do the glass tips go ? or how far into an adapter would they need to go ??
Right now the design is 7 mm or just over 1/4"

I just increased the depth to 10mm or .4"

they go as deep as any driptip I would say, there are some 901/510 one's that are a bit longer though, but the majority should go like any standard DT. Dunno the difference as I don't have anything other then glass ones anymore...

That's a fairly easy question to answer. No one at notcigs knew that some people would have such strong feelings about the whistle tip they ship with it. Other PVs don't ship with drip tips, so how would one gauge that? I have a dozen or so PVs that I can see from where I'm sitting. Only one of them (the vvpv) came with a drip tip. -- And, just a "by the way" mwa102464 had one of those donut tips made with a hole in it to accept the tubing. So, instead of expecting notcigs to have accessories you prefer, maybe your accessories should be your responsibility? I don't really know. top feeders just aren't very common.

As to "hiding the tube"... I don't have any feelings about the tube. I think it looks just fine. It is a top feeder after all.... But, several simple mods come to mind. If you don't like it because it looks like medical tubing, change the color with paint. Or, use heat shrink tubing on it which comes in just about any color you can think of now. Another thing that comes to mind is to bend some brass, stainless steel, or delrin tubing (delrin being the easiest of those to manipulate the shape of) and make it whatever shape you like and run the tubing through it. etc etc etc.

the Donut MWA has is very rare and therefore no option. I would say that any mod today should be able to fit any driptip, just common sense as that is what people prefer, is a sort of standard, there own 510 driptip, glass, steel, anything that we already all have and like. Concerning the tube: It would be very easy to make a sleeve that fits the VVPV to hide the tube, like a dripshield but then made as the design of the PV. Just thinking out loud as it would make the VVPV 100% IMHO.......
