I'm not sure if this is my problem or some oddity in the new charger... I got my second VX2 kit (including the PCC) on Saturday and I charged the batteries from it without a problem. My first starter kit has behaved quite well... until I put those batteries into the new charger. (Which is no different from the old one). Sunday morning when I pulled the old batteries from the chargers, neither worked. (This is actually easy for me to know -- my old batteries were all blue LEDs; the new ones are red). i have 5 batteries; 3 charge fine with either charger but those other two won't do anything.

Both of the blue batteries were fine when I put them in the charger; we didn't have any power interruptions on Sat. night/Sun morning and those chargers are on a surge protector anyway. The remaining blue LED battery and the red ones charge fine in both chargers (and in the PCC case -- which by the way, the power cable for the blucig PCC case is the same as the power cable for the VX2 PCC case...).

Having two batteries go at once is odd... any idea what happened? This was... 16 days after purchase, so out of warranty.

Thanks!

sounds like the same issues I have had. I wonder if these chargers are frying the batteries.

Just to state again -- I've been consistently impressed with Shawn's level of service and the interest he takes in his customers --

--- and this incident gives him all the more credit in my book!

I did not come here looking for any grief or drama or to complain -- as my first post said, I didn't know if it was something I'd done or something that just didn't make sense, but I'm a techie -- I try to trouble-shoot and document problems with everything, but especially with a new product (and the J118/VX2 is pretty new).

To reiterate: I'm out of warranty -- I understand that. This is the way things go (and that's my luck -- If something's going to die on me, it'll die just after the warranty expires) and I'm used to it.

YET... though he needn't do it, though I didn't seek it and wouldn't have asked for it, Shawn offered me a discount to replace my batteries. I'm bowled over by his offer and impressed once again by his willingness to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. We own 2 VX2 kits, a m401 and a DSE601 pipe from litecig and we've been consistently happy with his products -- and I wouldn't go back if I wasn't happy.

Thank you, Shawn. You're one of the good ones.

Yes he is! I steer people to him all the time. I almost didnt order from him when I saw the 14 day warranty, but looking at other sites it seems to be an industry standard although I have seen longer ones. Still, glad I ordered from him and I for one will be a long time customer.

I bought my 401 from LiteCig a while back and was having an odd issue with it earlier today. Since Im away from home on vacation, it was more than a little annoying. So i emailed him and he responded immediately. As always he was most helpful and I am sitting here vaping away on it as I type this. I have sent almost a dozen people to Shawn this week! Apparently not many people had ever seen an e-cig in Santa Fe! Everyone who has asked has been sent to litecig for the new model! I figure its the least I can do for soomeone who takes such good care of me!

Thanks for everything...and hold one of those vx2's for me! Ill be ordering the silver one tomorrow!
