I'm afraid there's something wrong with my taste buds. I just received Dulce de Leche and I could swear there's a hint of coconut in it, which I'm pretty much sure there isn't. (Nor is there supposed to be.)
I do like it a lot and know it will age beautifully; already, caramel lingers deliciously in my mouth after exhaling...it's just that I also get that coconut hint. Not a huge problem, as I love coconut, too, but I'm worried my taste buds have been irreversably altered from 38 years of smoking and I'll never be able to taste anything they way it really tastes.
I know my senses are still changing...I've only been smoke free for two plus months; and I probably won't taste coconut at all tomorrow, lol...but this is driving me crazy!
