Hey all,

n00b here - I guess I've got to spend a little time in the kiddie pool, so I'll start by talking about myself a little bit.

I've been a PAD smoker for a little over 20 years. I've vaped on and off since about 2009 maybe? Not many people knew about it back then - I ordered off the Internet from overseas...but I didn't do it long because it was a bit of a PITA to get new cartos and such...

Then as they started becoming available a little bit in gas stations - the disposables. One here or there. They never satisfied me though.

I am constantly trying to kick the analog habit. I've patched it (my favorite cessation up till now - vivid dreams wooohooo!), gummed it, lozenged it, etc...

Last week, on a lark, I picked up a Blu starter kit. My immediate reaction was that it was better than I remembered. I chain vaped, did a little reading about how to refill the cartos, bought some fun juice - and was satisfied - mostly....

The battery life on the Blu's is a joke. Seriously. Maybe 1 hour? Constantly changing batteries all day kind of sucked, and the flavors always seemed muted behind some different (but not terrible) taste.

So I did a little reading - and found that pretty much everybody agrees about the Blus - and bought a Vapor X XPS....another gas station purchase, mostly because I am into instant gratification.

The Vapor X is a huuuuuge step up from the Blu's. I can cleanly taste the flavors of my juice. The battery lasts most of the day....but I'm still...sort of....wanting...

So I just ordered a Protank 3 and a VS 1300mah....along with a boat-load of juices from Vapor Chef.

I'm hoping this satiates me for awhile - since I'm not rich. :)

I love vaping at my desk all day - or while watching TV at home - I love not smelling like a rotting ashtray corpse.

Hi.

You will have to tell me how that protank 3 is. I just saw they came out with one. At first I didn't like my PT2 because it was constantly gurgling. That was until I found out that I had to keep it somewhat filled up. I have no problems with it now. Having that dual coil is interesting to me. But I heard that the replacement parts to it are not interchangeable as they are with other atomizers. Keep me informed!

Hi and thanks for your post. Totally relate to the hit and miss results at the beginning of my vaping experience. Was buying 510 batteries and pre-filled cartos for way to long and with a big hit to my checkbook. Finally started buying juice and filling my on. Now using an EVOD battery and tank as well as a 1300 Spinner.

Kicked my Nicorette habit completely now and vape all day. Good luck to you and thanks again for your post.

Welcome to ECF, I think you'll find the VS you just purchased will last you alot longer. Mine will go 1-1\2 days between charges and I am constanly vaping.:2cool:

Great news about the spinner! I don't mind plugging it in at bedtime at all...so if it gets me through the day on a charge, I'm happy!

It's great not smelling like smoke and not hearing it from others as well! I am new to the forum but have been lurking. I as well started with a blu then went to an ego twist with pro tank mini. Me wanting more got an itaste vv, MVP, vamo, and a silver bullet as my first mech mod. I really like carto tanks if I'm going that way. I have recently started building my own coils on a RDA and it is so much more satisfying then my kangers/iclears/cartos. I have a bliss clone on the way as well as a trident and a new mech mod from FT. Also have some Sony 30amp batts on the way, can't wait to go lower then my .6 ohm builds!!! Quad micro coils as soon as they arrive!!

I have to say - I've become accustomed to the Blus. With blank cartos and good juice - I've found they really provide a very decent vaping experience. As long as I keep my eye on the charger and change the batteries out as soon as they finish (not a problem at work, since it sits right next to me on my desk), I can smoke them all day.
