Waiting for my first Kit...!

Hello from Washington State!

Last Fall, my family and I went to our local fair. We found a booth that was selling an e-cigarette, and though we were quite interested, we were very skeptical at the time! Since then, I keep hearing little sound-bite reports of excited people who are using this new device, so I began my search for the right one for me. I found this website about a month ago, but as interesting as it was, I found it to be quite overwhelming8-o

Yesterday I made my first order...it should arrive tomorrow..! I am so grateful for this forum, the information here has been so helpful...thank you all!

I ordered the Joye 510 starter kit and I know that once I start using it, I will have a whole new set of questions to get answered. I also have my eye on the future purchase of a kr808d-1. Many people are saying good things about it too.

I did read in the forums that there is a "Nickel Mesh Bridge" inside the atomizer in this 510. I have an external allergy to Nickel and I am a little worried about it affecting me? At this point I am willing to take that chance....Perhaps a little modification could be done to it?

I am ever-hopeful that this works well for me...I know so many people that could benefit from this!

We're in the same boat! I ordered my first kit yesterday as well (Joye 510). Can I ask where you decided to order from? I'd like to see if you get yours before me. I ordered
e-liquids from 2 different places cause I was worried one wouldn't get to me by the time the kit came in. I'm so excited! I hope they work for both of us!

Regarding your allergy, I don't know if the atomizer will trigger it since basically the atomizer is used to heat the e-liquid in the cart and turn it into vapor.Perhaps when you start vaping you should do it sparingly and see if you do get a reaction from it.

Elin...I purchased from Cignot...the site is run by two ladies. They were so helpful and every time I wrote to them I got an immediate response! About 5 minutes after submitting my order I got an email stating that my order was shipped. Excellent customer service. They are located somewhere in the mid-west I think, so it could take up to three days to arrive.

I agree about the allergy. Since you shouldn't be making any direct contact with the nickel, logic would say that you should be ok. Just to be on the safe side, being mindful of reaction and using sparingly until you're satisfied that it isn't affecting you are excellent suggestions. Welcome aboard. Got my first PV on Friday last week and haven't touched an analog since!

You'll love it, if you remember that it is NOT a cigarette. Just keep in mind that it will take some getting used to, and has a learning curve. Just stick to it and you'll figure out how to make it work for you. Then you get to enjoy things like your taste buds coming back alive, and your sense of smell returning.

I've been trying to quit for over a decade. I'm definitely a smoker but not a heavy smoker. (Unless I'm drinking; then I can go through a pack in one night)

That being said my e-cig pasted the ulimate test: a night out on the town. I didn't even get the incling to reach out for an analoge. All the 2nd hand smoke in the smoking room was worse than all the vaping I did that night.

Anywho, everyone's experice varies but I sincerely hope this works out for you.

I did the same thing but in a different order. I got the KR808D-1 first and then I got the Joye 306 (very similar to the 510 but smaller)

I love them both and they both have their strengths and weaknesses

First, the folks here were great offering info to a newb. And the service from CigNot is awesome!
Hope yours works out for you! My first is charging now. Will be ordering flavored e-juice as soon as I get paid!

wow that's awesome. it's nice when some ultimate test (like a night out) is passed with flying colors.

defintely let us know how it works out for you. after 20+ years of smoking this is the first thing that's actually helped me get off of analogs with out routinely wanting to kill people.

last time i tried to quit i left the message on my voice mail telling people to stay away from bell towers.

I ordered from Cignot, too, and the Joye 501 starter kit went from Chicago to Denver in two days. They're awesome! Been vaping for almost a day, just like a big girl. Ordered three more kits for neighbors today.
