I wanted to switch to e-cigs because I knew that analogs were killing me. I had tried everything else but nothing seemed to work. I would be right back puffing on the analogs. My special needs daughter came to me one day begging me to quit. She said she didn't want to lose her mom. By accident I heard about the e-cig and started reading more info. I watched u-tube reviews and found my way here to the forum. After reading some reviews here I made my first purchase which was nine months ago and haven't looked back.

I wanted to switch to ecigs because my father passed away from cancer and seeing how hard that was for him, made me not want to touch an analog again. I was off cigs for the longest time but when I drink, next day im hooked again, and no longer want to go down that road. So I made the switch last year upon seeing the ecig commercials late nite. Not buying into the scam on tv, I did my due diligence and found this forum along with the vaping guides and the rest is history. Luckly I've only had one or two slip ups since then, now they taste gross and I love my pvs.

I wanted to quit analogs but never could get past one month of not smoking,I had the smoker's cough every morning and was getting out of breath more and more and didn't want to die of cancer seeing what kind of death that brings from seeing people go that way. Then I found out about E-Cigarettes and had to give it a try after trying them there was no going back and now the smoker's cough is gone and I'm not easily out of breath. I've been happy ever since I've gotten my first PV and hope I never go back.

I had been smoking Djarum Blacks for years. They were my favorite smoke and i could never get over the flavor of them. I had seen electronic cigarettes for a while at this point but never considered them since what i had always seen at the kiosks and such was either a tobacco flavor or some cherry/vanilla mix. One day i decided i had enough it was time to get on board with the healthier alternative but i had to find something that would suit my needs as an alternative to cloves. Well to my surprise i found this site that offered strictly eGo's with Djarum Black flavored cartomizers. So i jumped strait on the band wagon and had two delivered to me immediately. Once they arrived i was skeptical at this odd device taking away my craving for cloves but as time passed by i now crave getting more fopr my eGo then i do for smoking. @months now smoke free and i will never go back. Vaping is not just an alternative anymore its a lifestyle change.

When the economy started to fall apart, I had to go back to school. I decided that I would for my nursing degree, because I was always interested in medicine. Anyhow, I got a first-hand look at the effects of smoking. It scared the living daylights out of me. Not to mention, my professors are all M.D.'s. They were always giving me that look of disappointment when I was on break smoking. With all this I decided to try out e-cigarettes. Now all my professors are proud of me as well as my family. I also don't have to worry about one day smoking through a trach tube hole in my neck. Happy to say the e-cig made it easy and fun, not to mention TASTY!!!!!!

Let's see...started smoking when I was 23. I found out my family has a history of lung cancer and smoking related illnesses. Seven years later I was starting to feel the effects of a weakened immune system. I was sick and tired of smelling terrible, and the countless number of burns on my clothing, furniture, car, etc. I tried the patch, the gum, and snus....but I was addicted to the sensation of smoking. I ordered a Blu...used it indoors but continued to smoke. About a year later, a friend suggested I try to "do the electronic thing" again after experiencing coughing fits. I did countless hours of youtube and internet searching before I decided on a Riva, and five months later, I feel great and luv this new hobby! Thx!

Well, I was a smoker for 22 years. Numerous times I tried quitting using various methods (cold turkey, patch, gum, hypnosis), every one of them failed. After a while I just gave up. I realized that while I knew how harmful smoking was, I enjoyed it....I enjoyed smoking. Last month, a coworker that smoked much more than I did said he picked up an e-cig and loved it. He claimed he's been smoke free for almost 2 weeks because of it. I thought to myself, surely if he can just 'quit' like that, no analog cigs at all, just quit and use an e-cig, then I KNOW I could do it. The next weekend my last pack emptied and I took a trip to a local tobacco shop. Instead of buying a pack of smokes, I asked about e-cigs. That morning I purchased my first e-cig and haven't looked back! I have since purchased a couple more batteries, cartomizers, E-juice, started filling my own...all the standard new guy stuff going overboard with my new hobby. I love the fact I know long want a cigarette. I love the fact that I can still "smoke", and yet enjoy numerous flavors, be in better health, and save money. It has been a Godsend for me.

First, smoking was killing me. I had a heart attach at 42 years old and still couldn't quit. Second, I hated smelling like an ashtray. Third, the $1.00 tax per pack really ...... me off and got me to looking into more alternatives. I tried so many of the traditional methods and a few not so traditional methods out there. The patch, gum, cold turkey, hypnotism, Chantix. Then I remembered hearing something about a "smokeless cigarette". So I typed the words into my browser and thankfully found my way to ECF. I got a kit and quit smoking the day it arrived. Viola. It took me six years after I had a heart attack to find my e-cig. The search was worth it. I'm glad I never gave up trying to find it. I just celebrated my two year anniversary.

Pretty simple for me...I got tired of waking up and coughing my head off. I knew it was killing me and wanted a better way to get my nic fix. 3 years ago my daughter tried to get me to look at them. I did but due to the cost, I turned away thinking it was a gimick. It wasn't until 2 years later that a co-worker was using a Joye 510 and the questions from me started. That morning I got online and placed an order. 3 days later my life changed for the better. I couldn't be happier than I am now...more energy, no more killing myself that we know of, and I can breathe without coughing up a lung.

I started because my husband wanted to try them. He worked with a woman who was using an e-cig on her breaks at work, and he was interested. We had been rolling our own for a couple of years to cut the ever rising cost of cigarettes. When he first described them to me, I actually laughed at the whole idea of "fake cigarettes". I honestly thought it was kind of dumb. But my husband does not ask to try new things too often, so I got on-line and started looking around. After a few weeks of research I ordered two starter kits..determined that if I was going to spend money on this, We were GOING to make this work. We were fairly impressed with our first kits..to a point..and eventually found what we were looking for. Two years later, I am still vaping away, quite happy to have a healthier alternative. My husband, on the other had, used his devise as a stepping stone to quit for good.

I had to quit smoking because I am 27 and found out I have a severe back condition. Smoking actually can cause more pain for me. Also I will have to have surgery if I every want to have children. I heard with smoking and fusion surgery that there are more changes of it failing. Not to mention a long surgery and smoking hello dangerous. So when I stopped into a local tobacco shop and saw an e-cig I realized this is my best option to actually stop. It has been the only way that has worked For me to quit smoking.

After 30 years of cigarettes and numerous attempts at quitting, I ran into an old friend at a birthday party. He was puffing away at something I hadn't seen before so I just had to ask. He explained that it was an electronic cigarette he bought online and that he had been able to stop his 3pack a day habit with it. I took a few puffs off of it and decided I had to find one for myself. I hit the convenience stores first and kept finding non-menthol versions and I called all over and finally found a cigarette shop that sold an e-cig with menthol cartridges. I ran up there and forked over $50 for a tiny little kit that broke in the first week. But I was hooked and got busy getting a better model and haven't picked up a cigarette since. That was a year ago and I have never looked back! I have also managed to convert quite a few people over as well. I feel so much better now that I no longer cough all the time, I can smell and taste and don't run out of breath when I am active. My kids love that I no longer smell like an ashtray or stink up the car! The money I saved...ok well maybe not so much since I love to try new products and juices!
I feel this is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and can only hope more people discover the benefits of vaping as I have.

I liked smoking, and was content to be a smoker the rest of my life. My wife and son wanted me to order them the "free trial" e-cigs, so they could try them out. After a bit of research, I found free trials was a bad way to go. I also found this ecf.

After a bit more research, I ordered the wife and son each a kit. I also ordered some flavor for them, and a flavor for me to try. I have never looked back. I became an accidental quitter. My wife and son still hit the analogs sometimes, but I have been smoke free for 6+ months!

I wanted to quit but knew I couldn't kick the analogs without help. I had lost my grandmother to lung cancer and watched as 3 of my aunts suffered from COPD at such a young age. I couldn't do that to myself so I made the decision to quit but knew I couldn't do it alone. My friend introduced me to vaping and gave me tons of information and I ordered my kit. It took me 5 months to finally put the analogs down for good but here it is almost a year later and I am still smoke free :D

I had no intention of quitting. A friend talked my wife (also a heavy smoker) into trying vape. She ordered a kit. I tasted it, and had only 3 more cigarettes in the next 2 days after the first taste of vape. No cigs since - 4 months. 38 years of smoking - done. Love vape!
