want a "dripping atty" please help

For a cheap dripping atty, I have been taking cartomizers and carefully removing the filler and dripping 2-3 drops at a time. Works like a charm for me. Best of luck to you.

Madstabber, good info but what ohm would be good for a JC VEA battery, a Kanger EVOD batter and a Kanger ESmart battery? I can figure out the threading but this ohm thing has me stumped. Thanks all, good thread!

I'm not familiar with those batteries but I went with the 2 ohm atty. Maybe someone with some knowledge of those batteries could chime in and help out, if not you really can't go wrong with 2 ohms I don't think any battery would have a problem running them.

What you need to know is the wattage range that you like. Everyone is different, but 7 watts a good place to start.
Once you know what wattage you want (power) you can punch in either the voltage or the resistance of what you have, and the calculator will do the rest for you.

I can't say for certain since I'm not familar with those batteries but I'd venture a guess that they are probably eGo clones; are they manually activated? Most devices, such as the eGo's supply approximately 3.7 volts. Keeping that in mind, you could use the following general recommended ohm to voltage guidelines when selecting an atty:

Resistance Voltage

1.8ohm 3.00V - 3.75V
2.4ohm 3.00V - 4.50V
2.8ohm 3.25V - 5.00V
3.2ohm 3.75V - 5.10V
4.0ohm 4.00V - 5.75V

These are not absolutes obviously but it may help you in trying to match up an atty to your device(s).

I have been using vision stardust cartomizers on ego c twist batteries since I started vaping. I buy juices like crazy and I've heard a dripping atty is the best way to sample new flavors. What is it? Looks to be made of several components and I still can't figure out what they are supposed to do. Can someone explain the concept? Can someone just tell me what I need to buy to make this happen? I've been trying to figure this out comprehensively for two days. Please help me!!

It's pretty simple. You get an atomizer like, oh, just as an example a 510 like this and a drip tip like one of these (these are just examples, not recommendations). Then put the atomizer on the battery, drip a few drops on the little heater coil widget in the atomizer, pop the "drip tip" on and vape.

You can drop the liquid through the drip tip also though, heh, my aim isn't all that great, I take the tip off. It's easy to pop it on and off.

Makes for great flavor. Also can be quite messy.

You could drip with an eGo atomizer, but it doesn't work well nor is it practical. Those atties are for using an eGo tank.

Everyone that drips has a favorite atomizer, but that's not the point here. When learning how to drip you can expect to flood the atty, get dry hits, and most likely pop an atty or two. So learn how to drip first, and then worry about finding the nicest atomizer ever made.

I would suggest something like these to learn with.

I created a thread like this and someone suggested that atty, but also suggested eGo Drip Shield Cone and Ceramic 901/510 Contoured Drip Tips. It feels like that setup would be obnoxiously long on my Kgo.

Has anyone used something like this?

Right now Im vaping a 306 1.5 from Roar vapor in my DCA from goodsensevapor. Poision apple from roar. Once you go atty you dont go back.

but where's a good place to start? people keep suggesting to get a drip shield with the atty. But those plus a drip tip seem like they'd be REALLY long.
