Hello Everyone,
Being a noobie, only two months vaping and no analogs...I love this new way of life....But, I noticed that when I first was a "Guest" to this forum,
back in Dec-Jan timeframe...most of the questions/problems I seen asked
were already answered within the the forum...I am just wondering, if we are getting too lazy to look for answers or should we expect an automatic reply to every one of our questions? I can only speak for myself,,,but searching this forum for answers, gave me a better insight to other questions and situtations that came up during my two months...I didn't have to "run" to ask a question, that was already answered hundreds of times...I did and continue to do the ground work,,,,it is that important to me, for my health and overall well-being...In other words...Please, Read, Read, and Read, some more; all the great advise that is already here for you and me....Thanks...and of course,,,,,Enjoy...

P.S. I truly understand emergency situations...Been there, done that...lol.
;)

Here and back
Some "answers" may change over time. A good example is the filling technique for cartomizers (808). Used to be complicated, syringes, dropping, etc. but now highping (I think) came up with the condom refill method. So....sometimes an old question asked again is a good thing.

That said, I must say I have a very hard time "searching" this site for specific information. I thought I was pretty good on a computer but my search techniques seem to be lacking here.

I agree. One of the downfalls to such a LARGE and well-versed Forum, if you type in a question about something even RELATIVELY popular, you're getting 4 or 5 pages to breeze through.

And, keep in mind, for most 'noobies' with a question, it IS an emergency.

ppl like to "talk" about it as well, rather than just read. shows interaction. most ppl need interaction to learn. i hate reading and reading to find a simple solution. i was askin a million questions when i started, and ppl was kind enough to answer. other wise i dont think i would have tried vaping. now its my turn to pay back. i will answer fellow new-b questions if i can. we all have our own styles n ways of learning. :)

It's one thing if it a question that hasn't been asked in awhile but when it's a question that is asked over and over again I think it is annoying/lazy

For example: when 4VL first introduced their Premium Cartomizers there were often 4 threads on the first page of results which all essentially asked the same question: "what's so premium about the premium cartomizers?"

And that obviously said: I am too lazy to look for my answer so I'm just going to post immediately.

When I am looking for answer to a question I visit the subforum I think it would most likely be in and browse around a bit - if I don't find it I Google whatever I'm looking for along with the term e-cig and Google will then let me search the results just from this forum . . .

If you scroll all the way to the very bottom of an ECF page, on the left-hand-side, you'll find a Google search box that will just search this site. The search engine is much faster than ECF's built in search facility.

When I started vaping...or should I say before...I asked questions and found the answers I was looking for. Now I'm hooked on vaping and I would never go back to analogs...even if vaping was illegal.

You can search for the answers in the forum or you can ask them in threads. There are many nice people on ECF who are more than happy to help out.
