Going to try and keep this short, and hope that i am not going to get in trouble for asking others their point of view on this matter.

Just swung by you tube as i was notified one reviewer for vaping uploaded a new video, which i went to go see and it was for a high caliber weapon. After i picked up my jaw and said WTF and WTH then watched a few minutes with a hardy FFS i wanted to ask if i had the right to have this reaction to someone who has a channel clearing stating it is all about vaping and yet slaps a review for a high caliber weapon on there? Am i not mistaken in thinking this is sending the wrong message to the wrong people?

don't get me wrong, everyone has a right to their opinion, but should vaping be done in association to this?

You seriously couldn't tell what the video was about from the title or the thumbnail?

Vaping should absolutely be done in association with "this" because I do both of them.

Almost all vaping reviewers are not doing this as a business, it is just a fun way to extend their vaping enthusiasm and hobby. I guess this reviewer is also a gun hobbyist. Does that affect his/her vaping opinions? Unless the reviewer is doing a video on black powder Mods or gun oil ejuice I am not sure what the issue is.

In the end though it all comes down to; are you capable of unfollowing them on YouTube?

I hope this doesn't come off as confrontational, as that was not my intention, but allow other people to do their thing and go about doing yours. Unless someone is doing something that is directly causing you harm or real distress.

They're just another person like you or I that doesn't get paid for vaping or reviewing. They love the hobby and volunteer their time to give their educated opinions on products. Their YouTube channel is their personal YouTube channel and they have no obligation to me or anyone else to police what they put on their channel just because someone might not like it. It isn't like this guy has his own network and gets paid half a million and episode or something, he's just sharing his life and opinions - it's not all about vaping all the time with most Youtube reviewer's channels - I like the personal aspects.

What's the channel? It's really hard to answer with anything but "turn the channel" not knowing anything.
My channel will do knitting, gardening, cooking, archery, blogging, puppies, jokes, beer and e-cigs. I'll get into guns at some point. Most of my random subscribers happen because of knitting and I lose a lot of them when they figure out I don't do knitting very often. If I cared about subs I'd notice they drop off and make a knitting only channel. But I'm there for me and the only subscribers I care about are those who I interact with.

Do not take offense but i am not going to give the channel as that is how we lost steel jan from the community on giving really awesome help, you never know who is on the outside prepared to do whatever is needed to chase people off you tube. This was more a general what was thoughts on it, but it seems this is turning into something else that has been observed. So i will just leave it.

Yeah, it's not uncommon, that sort of thing. Maybe not about guns but sometimes people do reviews only as part of what they do on their channel. BigIceDog hops between DJing tutorials/reviews and vaping reviews. Vaper S. Thompson uses his NicFitNation channel to run demonstrations/plugs for both NicFitNation and SmartHoser. Estarra does both E-cig reviews/tutorials and talks about his online MMORPG. The one you got notification from is probably a gun nut. Not much you can do but unsub if it bothers you.

NP, I kind of understand. (The video is on YT so the person obviously wants it seen. I never understand responses like Steel Jan, you need thick skin if you're going to put yourself out in public).
All I can say is don't watch that channel if you can't deal with seeing guns or get more selective of what videos you watch from it.
I wouldn't worry at all about the image of guns and vaping unless the person is going around shooting people. Normal people smoked, therefore they vape and do other normal things like shooting guns.
