Help, I am so confused. I've been vaping almost 3 years, so as far as equipment I'm am pretty advanced. What I would like to know is more about DIY. I've purchased 50/50 60mg nicotine, and am purchasing pg and some vg as well as flavors obviously. I have an app on my phone that shows me how to mix two sets of whatever together, but I'm just unsure how to make a 70pg 30vg mix with all that I've got. Anyone know a really good calculator for all this?

Anyone know much about flavorwest? I'm looking into buying my flavors and other diy from highdesertvapes, but wasnt sure how stron those flavors typically are.

Hey babyk... I just got into this stuff too. The above calculator is the best. I have the phone app too and it's good for simple stuff, but the ejuice Me up is better. As for Flavor West.. I have some of those and they're quite strong. You get a lot for the money too. I also have some FlavourArt and Capella's on the way and some Flavor Apprentice. My problem is finding the exact flavor I'm looking for. I want peach... just straight up peach and I'm having trouble finding it. By the end of the week, I'll have 6 different peach flavorings. It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy really. I've only managed to make a couple things that I find even remotely vapable but it's kinda fun too. This is a great place to get help, so don't be afraid to ask. These guys here are great!

Here are some other calculators to try.

e-Liquid Calculator

E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavor's Plus PG/VG Adjusting

A suggestion that helped me when starting out...look through the recipe section and find a couple that sound good to you. Get the flavors needed to make them. Having some early success with proven recipes when you're first starting really helps you to stick with DIY and not go crazy ordering every flavor that sounds good.

Do LOTS of reading in the DIY section. :)

Wishing you much success with making your own juice!

So words of advice: Do a lot of reading especially the stickys and the blogs by Hoosier. Read the flavor threads because not all flavors are created equal an I agree with checking the recipe thread for at least one popular recipe to Vape while you go through trial and error creating your first great juice. Good luck and don't get discouraged DIY is loads of fun.

With a 70/30 pg vg mix Flavorwest should be started a little lower. I would not start higher than 10% with some being 15% and some flavors being under ten percent for example caramel candy---its strong I would start it under 5%. There are others they have that need very little. Ultimately it will come down to your tastebuds. If you vape high VG percentages, needed for flavoring will be more as a general rule--high PG less will be needed.
